Heart Murmur

What is a heart murmurA heart murmur is an extra or unusual sound heard during heartbeat. Heart murmurs can vary in sounds. Some can be very loud and some can be so soft you cant even hear them.

How do you get it??

You can sometimes get heart murmurs for no apparent reason at all even if you are very healthy. But if people have abnormal heart murmurs it’s probably from heart problems. Abnormal heart murmurs found in children are most likely caused by hear defects which they are born with. Abnormal heart murmurs found in adults are often caused by a heart valve disease.

What does it Do??

A heart murmur gives you an unusual sound from your heart during a heartbeat.

How does it affect the function of the circulatory system.It affects the function of the circulatory system because when you have multiples ones they can slow down the function of the system.

How is it treated………

If you have a healthy heart and you have a heart murmur is doesn’t harm you and you don’t need treatment. But some heart murmurs are cause by issues of the heart which may need medicine and surgery to fix. For example a heart murmur cause by the valves needs antibiotics to cure.
