The PG platform - solutions for OEMs.

Market-proven heat exchanger design, an essential part of modern boiler systems, suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

All components of the PG condensing heat exchanger have been engineered to optimize its performance and increased efficiency of heating boilers.

AIC developed the PG design concept through a combination of experience in thermal technology, engineering know-how and advanced CFD simulation and 3D modelling software.Construction material of high-grade stainless steel was carefully selected to ensure product durability and corrosion resistance.

Every component of the PG heat exchanger is manufactured with great attention to detail. All the parts are fabricated in-house with high-precision tube mills, CNC equipment and high-speed metal cutting machines. The welding part of the production process is based on laser beam technology.

Automated assembly line of PG heat exchangers fitted with robotized stations, vision systems and functional tooling ensures production effectiveness, stability and unblemished product quality.

The heat exchanger features a conical shell with top and bottom tubesheets holding the combustion chamber, a system of heat transfer tubes and a set of distribution baffles.

Unique geometry of the fire tubes enhances the heat transfer by creating a turbulent flow of flue gases. The gases are cooled down, condensate on tube walls and give up latent heat to the water. The water circulates around the fire tubes thanks to the smart baffling system.

The PG platform combines 7 nominal capacities, from 16 kW (55 kBTU/h) to 120 kW (399 kBTU/h), and dozens of assembly configurations making the PG platform a perfect match for most wall-hung residential and commercial boilers.

PG Combee

Yet another addition to the PG family is a PG Combee - bi-functional heat exchanger. A new product dedicated for heating and domestic hot water applications.

The COMBEE concept is designed as a complete product line, from single heat exchangers to advanced assemblies.

The PG Combee is a very compact construction, based on the PG heat exchanger with an integrated copper coil. The compact size of the Combee line, similar to the standard PG, allows OEMs to design common cabinets for both product lines. Integration of the copper coil results in an immediate response to hot water demand with instant provision of up to nominal capacity of a boiler.

PG Heat Engines

AICʼs continuous research into product development brought a concept of a complete heating package - the PG Heat Engine.

Our engineering team conceived a thoroughly tested heat engine system for the most common of boiler outputs available on the market today.

Typical AIC heat engine assembly includes:

• PG heat exchanger• combustion air blower• gas valve and venturi• ignition and ionisation electrodes• sight glass• burner - refractory insulation - burner mounting plate• gaskets

The PG heat engine boasts several major advantages:
