Well show season came and went, we started and ended 2009 with a bang, three back to back shows, at the begining and end of the show season. Heidi and the team just could not wait to get back out there. Heidi who was five this year had to start taking it easy, mainly down to the fact that she has cancer, and her lump is getting quite large. This did not stop her bashing visiting dogs again this year, so when Grub said at the begining of the year... "Fat chance her being nice to passing doggies, when she can't even be nice to me" For once he was right. This is the ended of this years outside shows, but we will be attending small local rabbit shows and Linc Champ, over the next few months, so Watch this for space for more info. October finally came, the month that i had been really dreading. Three back to back shows. The first weekend saw us at "The Autumn Show and game fair" held at the South of England, on the 3-4th October, With a rabbit show on both days, plus the shop on tour, this kept me on my toes. I was very greatful that it was not to cold, and that for once it did not rain. With only the show bunnies to worry about and Grub on the Stand, Heidi I had left at home after her funny turn at the last show, much to her disgust, as this is her favorite dog bashing showground. This is how our Heidi see's herself (left), "Grub says "Yeah right more like this"(right) and she's going to be very busy at the end of the month.,,I think she may well break her broom stick this year" Now Grub that's not nice, I think Heidi likes you really, and you should start by being kind to her Our Second show was a one day Show "The East of England Autunm Show" held at Peterborough on the 11th of October, again we were there with the shop plus we where showing ten bunnies at the Rabbit show. The Last show in this set of three, was a new one for us a two day show held in Newark, The Newark & Notts Robin Hood Country Show, at the County Showground on the 17-18th October. This was for the shop plus the full display team.

“Heid’s Blog.” Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away today-Friday the 13th of all days aged 5 years 6 months old.

This is how our Heidi see's herself (left), "Grub says "Yeah right more like this"(right) and she's going to be very busy at the end of the month.,,I think she may well break her broom stick this year" Now Grub that's not nice, I think Heidi likes you really, and you should start by being kind to her

Our Second show was a one day Show "The East of England Autunm Show" held at Peterborough on the 11th of October, again we were there with the shop plus we where showing ten bunnies at the Rabbit show.

The Last show in this set of three, was a new one for us a two day show held in Newark, The Newark & Notts Robin Hood Country Show, at the County Showground on the 17-18th October. This was for the shop plus the full display team.

September saw us going in different directions with two shows on the same weekend. "Oh Joy" The 11th-12th of September saw David, Heidi, Spot and the gang helped by neice and nephew heading off to a two day Garden show at Detling. For once the weather at detling was kind, it was a very busy day and i think that i was missed. Heidi was a little off colour after the show and had to spend the next week indoor with spot and red. She couldn't see why she had to go back outside, but having the three of them plus two dogs in a small house is interesting-just glad that my mum didn't pop in for a cuppa. Would of been ""Good god, havn't you enough bunnies in the garden, without them taking over indoor""

Heidi with spot, they are sweet together. Fido heard Heidi was not well, so he popped in to say "Hello"

Whilst Dee and the show Bunnies headed off to "The London Championship Show" being held at the Rivermead center Reading. This was the secound largest rabbit show held in the UK, with nearly 2000 bunnies in attendance. So who went? Five Lionheads, one Lionlop, a Mini Rex and a Tan,( this is a new breed for David, he is hoping to get the Tan colour over to his Mini Rex, these should be quite stunning, it will take him about three years to do. Fingers crossed.) So here's a photo of the one i thought would do well. Her name is "Radish" she is a stunning Sootyfawn. Neice to Pumpkin.............So how did she do?----------Last in her classes, she was very nervous and would not stop flying her ears, She looked like a bat.

Page 3: Heid s Blog. Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away ......Home » Bunny Blog Bunny Blog Archive pt.2 “Heid’s Blog.” Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away today-Friday the

So who was the star of the show for us.well shock horror, it was David's Black and Tan Doe "pegaus", she came an amazing 4th out of a huge class of 28 young tans, beating a lot of top breeders. Well done David. I just hope you don't go on and on about it----where's the cotton wool for me ears!!!!

August, was a quite month for Heidi and the gang with only one show. This was a three day Garden Show held over the Bank Holiday Weekend, the " Aztec Southend Summer Garden Show" held at Garon Park. Heidi and the team had a great time, Pumpkin spent three days sitting with Dee on the office table having many strokes and cuddles. Heidi, Grub and Fido were whizzing around on the floor on and off, much to the delight of the passers by. Spot was not a happy bunny when he found that "someone " Aka Heidi, had emptied the food bucket. Heidi says "She knows nothing", but that may well explain why she spent half of the Sunday under the table crashed out dozing. Or is someone telling lies?????

I did manage to fit a 5 day mini holiday in, the first in over two years. we did get several strange looks, when we turned up at the Caravan site, down in Devon.

This is us, why do folks think it strange to (1) take bunnies with you and (2) keep them with a Jack Russell and Lurcher? I can't think of anything strange about that..............can you?

July, was a very busy month with three shows. Let down by the great british weather, Hopefully our August and September Shows, will be nicer, Heidi is getting fed up with getting her Dew lap grubby. "Well it is quite large" "The New Forest Show" on the 28th-30th of July, held at New Park, Brockenhurst. Was the third and final show for July, making this our tenth show of the year. This show was for the show bunnies only. Heidi was so glad to stay at home when see saw the weather forecast, "HEAVY RAIN", When it rains it sure does it well. It was very strange not to have any of the team with us. The show bunnies did well in the fur marquee, with lots of first places, stars and best of breeds, but they don't make us laugh like the "Display Team" do.

REW, Lionhead Baby-Stunning Declan, Best of Breed. Checkers, won two days out of three

"The Kent County Show" on Friday 17th to Sunday 19th of July was held at the Detling Showground Kent. This being the largest show in Kent, What a busy three days that we had, not helped by the wet and windy weather, hard to belive that we are in the middle of July, What a tring show. Whats happened to our summer? Heidi and Sgt were very happy to met Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, but could not really understand why members of the puplic were shooed off the walkways? They wern't that large that they needed the whole path!!!!!!

Sgt at last has found his new vocation in life....... He is the new

"DOCOTOR WHO" This is top secret information and must not be leaked

to the media. Spot was lucky enough to be on the set of the new Doctor Who series and managed to take and sneak out these photos, what a

bad bunny. Just don't tell anyone please. Sgt Bilko aided by his glamous assistant "Heidi" take on the infamous Darliks, who are tring to take over the top of Detling hill, they had heard that there was a man of gold there, silly things, it was just a mere spelling mistake!!!!!!!

Coast is clear Oh no they have seen me

I'm coming Sgt... I'm not scare of you..... Take that.. you lump of metal.. Go on run away...............I would like to thank "Demelza House" for letting us use their Docotor Who Stuff. For more information on their work please click here.

"The Small Holders Show" at the South of England Showground on the 4th-5th of July........ Was our first of the July shows our eighth trip out for year, with only Spot in attendance being that i can't trust him to be left on his own at home-" He throws the most amazing Parties", but the neighboures all moan about the cars, noise and the huge amount of carrott juice consumed. Heidi and the rest of the display team had the weekend off, enjoying the peace and quite at home.

"The Sussex Country Fair" held at the wonderfull Parham Park, Near Pulborough, West Sussex, on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June This was our seventh show of the year with the full display team being in attendance, this was our second visit to this truely stunning country house with the most wonderfull gardens, not a building or phone mast in sight.

Page 7: Heid s Blog. Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away ......Home » Bunny Blog Bunny Blog Archive pt.2 “Heid’s Blog.” Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away today-Friday the

The house has seen many things in it's life, being owned by Monastery of Westminster, and granted to Robert Palmer by King Henry VIII in 1540. The foundation stone was laid in 1577 by the two year old Thomas Palmer, and Parham has been a family home ever since. In 1922 the Hon. Clive Pearson, younger son of Viscount Cowdray, bought Parham from the 13th Lady Zouche, and he and his wife Alicia opened the house to visitors in 1948, after the Second World War when it had also been home to evacuee children and Canadian soldiers. Now Heidi feels that there is one very important name missing from that burst of history....HERS................SHE WANTED THIS HOUSE LAST YEAR, She feels that if it is owned by a charitable trust, then it should be HERS. Now i'm not sure quite what she would do with 875 acres of land that Parham House and Gardens are surrounded by or the ancient deer park, with the area being designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. I dont think that it would be the rather plum French lop rabbit that people would come and see, more the two rare breeds of beetles and the large heronry.

This just is not big enough!!!! We are here, shame to ruin the view Cecil all loved up with Eria

"The South of England Show" Held at the South of England Showground on the 11th-13th of June, was the sixth trip out of the year for Heidi, Grub, and Spot, with the rest of the display team having yet another weekend off, ( By all accounts Heidi had banned them from going out on the town again after the last jaunt.) The show rabbits were not so lucky, with a team of 12 booked in to the fur marquee each day, we were aiming for top honours.

Fancy Adult Class- 2 on the table Fancy Baby Class-2 again on...... What a clever Boy!!! Borg's 1st show

Heidi's number one fan, popped by on and off all day, claiming that after Heidi's dog bashing behaviour of last year, a close eye was needed. Heidi said Honest Mrs Plod, me's going to be good, cause i've got to look after Sir Spot, who's too young and little to hop loose and me dog bashing days are over-----Honest Mrs's " The real reason for Heidi not being allowed out, this year is her back is playing her up, so restpite is needed. She says "A week in a swedish clinic would do please" Ditto !!!!

"The Kent Garden Show" held at the Kent County Showground on the bank holiday weekend of the 23rd-25th of May, Was the fifth trip out of the year for Heidi, Grub, Sgt and Spot, For the first time in 5 years it only rained on one day, with no gale force winds to play havock with the marquee, lovely- with a great crowd of visitors, it made the time fly. The Bunnies were as good as gold with even Grub and Sgt spending time with each other. "I think they were talking football" "Boring ....yawn.." says Heidi, I think that she and spot were happy to go home each night with me, the photo far right is Spot and Heidi, having a hop in the trailer before setting off home.

Big Boy-Grub almost fully grown. The boys talking "footie" The two terrors, waiting to go home.

"The Spring and Garden Show" held at the South of England Showground on the May bank holiday weekend the 3rd-4th of May, Was the fourth trip out of the year for Heidi, Sgt and Spot, with the rest of the display team having the weekend off including Grub they had other plans. (See below, by all acounts Mrs Dibble, did not come back with all her clothing, reports on the concert the next day stated that the lead singer had been engulffed by the biggest pair of panties ever.)

"What have you left for little Spot" "How sweet, Heidi washing Spot" Can you see them in the crowd??

The HOME COUNTIES GARDEN SHOW Held at the Hertfordshire County Showground on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend was let down by the terrible English weather, this was our first time at this venue, but with the company that run the Kent Garden Shows and we were hoping for an excellent show, but alas not. With heavy rain, over cast, dam and cold for the first two days, when the sun finally came out on the Monday the bunnies had had enough, Poor Heidi could only hop lose under careful supervision due to the two un-ruly dogs on the stand two down, the owner had no control over them and they barked on and off all day, "Great "says Heidi, "It's bad enough having to live with Grub, but thous dogs need to go to doggy skool".

Page 10: Heid s Blog. Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away ......Home » Bunny Blog Bunny Blog Archive pt.2 “Heid’s Blog.” Very Sad news poor Heidi has passed away today-Friday the

The East Of England Garden Show " at the East of England County Showground on the 3rd-5th of April, What a lovely weekend, the sun came out and stayed out even the rain that was promised on Saturday past us by, Grub says “ that’s good Heidi would of gone on and on about the mud” It was a very busy show, with lots of new people to entertain, Heidi did not let them down, apart from getting a little amorous first with poor Fido and then a young toddler that stop to give her a stroke. Heidi Says “opps sorry about that, but spring is in the air, and grub is not that romantic after his trip to the vets last year... “Yea yea enough said” Said Grub I’m still all man............Just like that jack the lad---SPOT.

Spot had a whale of time, loving the stand next door, his such a dare devil, he said that he couldn’t read the sign that said keep off, he couldn’t understand why Heidi didn’t want a turn. “That’s easy Says Grub “ her bum would of got stuck, and would it take her weight? Heidi declined to comment, preferring a nice brush instead, once she came out from under the table.

The Kent Game Show Detling on the 28th-29th of March this was the 5th year for Heidi and the gang at this show....... What a start to the show season, Detling as normal was wet and windy, Heidi was very glad to be indoors, she didn't want to get her lovely white winter break feet muddy already, Grubs says "Big Girl, bit of mud never hurt anyone", We will remind HIM of that next week when we are outside. Heidi was pleased to introduce two new members of the display team, Spot and Humple-dink, who were very well received by everyone but Grub who was not happy about Spot popping in with Heidi, who was also not happy about not being allowed to hop lose, because of the unruly dogs and the neighbours opposite being Ferrets and birds of Prey. Heidi wants to know "WHY CAN'T I PLAY WITH THEM" Heidi was happy ( Grub says "That makes a change") to release her new flyer, which includes a keep sake photo of her and the team, and a voucher for the internet shop. Come and See Heidi at the show and grab yours!!

Winter 2008. Heidi, Grub and the Display team may have the winter off, with Heidi thinking that she is going skiing, but them Show Bunnies didn't, with the biggest show of the year the "Bunny Crufts" at the end of January. It was the gym and the beauty saloon for them. Excessive xmas fat to shift, and fur to sort out, they did look good. Heidi say, "She didn't need to go to any gym, she's just perfect the way she is, thankyou."" She always looks good" Grub say's "Yea right, that's fat and ugly then" Now Grub that's not nice. New year and all that.

So this is us On Tour at the "Bradford Show"
