Interview Formats
• Dean’s Fellows Program: two 15 minutes interviews with Faculty/Alumnus and Dean’s Fellows
• Dean’s Fellows Program/Scott Scholars/Scott Fellows: one 40 minute panel interview with Faculty, Alumnus and Dean’s Fellow
• Scott Scholars/Scott Fellows: one 30 minute panel interview with Faculty, Alumnus and Dean’s Fellow
• Phone interviews: 30 minutes
• Know what is on resume • Discuss involvement, leadership, service, and
how you fit scholarship or program • Prepare questions to ask interviewers • Thank interviewers for their time • For more tips, visit

• Read the case study • Write notes, questions, or thoughts • Establish most important ethical facts in
case • Determine key issue(s) for each
perspective • Select best resolution to ethical dilemma • Provide moral reasoning for your chosen
resolution

• Identify ethical implication for each of the 8 perspectives
• Discuss 3 conflicting perspectives • Present a resolution for ethical issue • Provide moral reasoning for your selected
resolution

• 2-3 pages • Heading must include full name, date of
birth and full mailing address • Grammar and spelling check • Save and submit as PDF • Due by 5pm CST on Wednesday, February

• Teams are led by current students
• February 1: Interview times announced and case study released
• February 7-12: Phone interviews • February 10: Case study paper due at 5pm CST • February 15: FAFSA due • February 16: Cortina & Freshman Leadership
Program Chat, hosted by Office of Admissions • February 19: Ranking of all special programs due • Early March: Decisions mailed
