Specialist Height Safety & Rescue Equipmentheightec manufactures a comprehensive range of high quality, fall protection and vertical rescue systems adapted to the requirements of technical industries who work at height.

The quality of our systems is founded on the quality of our individual products.

Each product is designed with a single objective - to improve on what has gone before, without compromise.

Our high specifi cation products excel in their specifi c functions and are safe, strong and easy to use.

Going Beyond the NormWe design products with specifi cations in excess of standards testing requirements.

Some manufacturers regard national and international standards (e.g. EN’s) as the absolute benchmark which their products must meet. This can lead to products being “designed down” to the standard - with specifi cations which only just meet the required level.

This approach does not allow for deterioration and wear, which begins as soon as a product is brought into use. A product that only just meets the requirements of a standard at the time of manufacture could easily deteriorate to below the norm after only a few months use.

Our test regime has included an external exposure test, in which products were continuously subjected to weathering in a very exposed location on the roof of a 35m high building. After 7 years of continuous exposure to sun, wind, ice and rain, no product failed an EN standard test.

Vertical Rescue... our specialityOur dedication to designing modular rescue systems began nearly two decades ago, with the PHOENIX professional rescue harness. The PHOENIX is one of the most widely used harnesses utilised by fi re brigades, rescue teams, defence fi re and airport fi re services worldwide. It was awarded Millennium Product status by the UK Design Council as an outstanding innovation.

Our rope devices are specially designed for complete control in both lowering and raising operations. We have created new, high strength camming mechanisms for hauling loads and have evolved pulley mechanisms that attach quickly and easily to a loaded rope.

We have a dedicated range of descenders and rescue products specifi cally for use by fi re services and rescue teams.

Work at Height Consultancy • Development and review of height safety, emergency planning,

policy and procedures• On site height safety and rescue assessments - onshore and off shore• Height safety audits and inspections • Industry specifi c advice with bespoke training• Equipment test reports

Inspection & ServicingOur inspection service is available for individual items of PPE, work kits or rescue systems and is carried out by our trained inspectors.

Traceability & ID markingOur rope devices are now stamped with a unique ID number at the start of the production process. The resulting mark is more durable than laser etching or engraving and remains legible for longer. The lifespan of the product is increased without the need to re-mark when traceability is essential.

We can indidivudally mark our equipment in accordance with a client’s own ID scheme. Using laser marking for devices, fabric labels on soft goods such as harneses, ropes etc or RFID emitter technology on virtually any item of PPE.

Bespoke BrandingIn addition to our marking and traceability service, we off er clients the option to have their corporate identity or other relevant markings etched onto large orders of devices or heat transferred onto large bag orders. We also off er bespoke helmet branding and soft label marking options for harnesses, lanyards and ropes.
