What’s New? New HeinOnline Databases American Enterprise Institute | June 2020 This database brings AEI’s collection of scholarship to HeinOnline’s fully searchable image-based format. Within the American Enterprise Institute database, users have the ability to browse a collection by title, author, or date. Additionally, unique to this database is the ability to browse titles by Policy Area. Bibliography of American Law School Casebooks, Second Edition | May 2020 A companion piece to the second edition, the new online database presents as extensive as possible a list of those casebooks intended for use in law schools and published in the United States from their inception in 1871. The incorporation of 4,000 new entries since the first edition make this resource the only comprehensive casebook index in both print and digital format. Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP) - New Acquired | February 2020 Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP) is a publication that has been issued by the University of Washington School of Law’s Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library for nearly 90 years. The William S. Hein Company and HeinOnline are proud to continue the publication of this crucial resource for legal scholars. Under Hein’s direction, the function and purpose of CILP will remain exactly the same—to provide a weekly, subject-categorized index of the most recent law journal issues. U.S. Presidential Impeachment Library | December 2019 Organized around the four affected presidents, this collection brings together a variety of documents both contemporaneous and asynchronous to each president’s impeachment, presenting both a snapshot of the political climate as each played out and the long view history has taken of past proceedings. • Explore This Author: Use the tool to discover an author’s frequent co-authors, journals, topics, organizations, people, and locations. • Editing Your Existing Author Profile: Authors who have enhanced their author profile page to include their email addresses have the

ability to edit their own author profile information through MyHein.• Editing Faculty Author Profiles for Your Institution: University and college librarians may request to become administrators so that

they can edit their school’s faculty author profiles.• ORCID Integration: HeinOnline has integrated with ORCID, a registry of unique identifiers (called ORCID iDs) for researchers and

scholars. Registering for an ORCID iD is free, and will ensure that you receive accurate attribution for your contributions to the legal field. Connecting your ORCID iD to HeinOnline allows you to display your unique research identifier on your HeinOnline author profile page, and also display your HeinOnline works on your ORCID record.

• Google Scholar and SSRN Profile Linking: Authors now have the added ability to link to Google Scholar Profiles and SSRN Profiles

Newly-revised edition of the essential legal cataloging manual! It addresses the needs of large and small law libraries alike, particularly those who wish to follow national cataloging standards, including the Library of Congress and the Program for Cooperative Cataloging. CLL5 addresses RDA instructions and terminology as found in both the current RDA Toolkit and its Beta Site.

Criminal Justice & Criminology

HeinOnline has been working tirelessly to incorporate a massive update into one of our most popular databases, Criminal Justice in America: U.S. Attorney General Opinions, Reports, and Publications. To make this update as effective and easy-to-use as possible, we’ve completely reorganized the database, subject-coded the material, and have given the collection itself a new and improved name more reflective of its new and improved content. Awards Business and Legal Aspects of Sports and Entertainment

Winner of the 2020 Joseph L. Andrews Legal Literature Award. The award recognizes a significant textual contribution to legal literature. The textual work may be a book, pamphlet, periodical contribution, website, database, or publication in some other format. Nominations for the Andrews Award shall be measured by the creative, evaluative elements and the extent to which originality and judgment were factors in the formation of the work. The term ‘legal literature’ is meant to be broadly defined, and includes works that: 1) are bibliographical in nature, listing the works of a particular author, printer, or country, or a particular theme; or 2) contribute to the body of legal literature and that also contribute to advancing legal research or law librarianship.
