It appeared at dawn: a red cube, standing here, at the edge of the forest. How mysterious, said the howl. How strange, said the wolf. Morning came. In the mist the red cube didnt move. Still there? grumbled the polecat. At midday, a rainbow shined bright. Three bears wondered aloud: Is it a shoe box? The hedgehog kept silent. When came the end of the day, tic-tic zip boom, the cube vibrated and made strange sounds. The wild boars ran away

  • Suzies Theories

Suzie is a little girl who has funny, extravagant, smart and sometimes really logical, quite impossible to contradict, really, theories. She has a theory about why the trees sleep standing up, a theory on how it is utterly impossible for dinosaurs to have gone completely extinct, and one about why goldfish really taste like strawberries. And so many more... French writer ric Chevillard listened carefully to his own little girl, Suzie, before rewriting her theories about everyday life. They are truly poetic, and for all about us to read again and again, reminding us that we, grown-ups, could really benefit from listening a bit more to children.

is an acclaimed writer mainly published by ditions de Minuit. His first childrens book, Agathes Menagerie, about his first daughters toys, was published by hlium with illustrations by Frdric Rbna in 2013.

is one of Frances most renowned illustrators and graphic designers. He works for the press (Le Monde, Libration, the New York Times) and many publishers. Here, his retro style and subtle colors fit perfectly with the literary writing.

    Dino Hide and Seek

A very, very, VERY long time ago, so long ago that nobody even remembers that time, dinosaurs frolicked everywhere. But the thing is, dinos got madly bored. There was no TV, there were no books, no balls, no video games NOTHING to play with. One day, the big dinos got so bored they decided to play with the little ones. Finally, they were able to have fun! But what did the small dinos think about that?! Well, they decided to come up with an idea, so that the big dinos wouldnt run after them (and eat them).

Ga lle Mazars Jean-Baptiste Drouot are both graphic designers. Jean-Baptiste Drouot is also an illustrator, and Galle Mazars writes childrens stories. This is their first collaboration together.

Beautiful and goodA photography book for children, introducing everyday senses and feelings. Two photos, two sentences: Its beautiful / Its good suggest contemplation, transformation and feelings all together. To the bees gathering pollen echoes the sparkle of a pot full of honey in the sun. To the thick and full wool of the sheep in the field succeeds the fluffy comfort of a little girls cardigan.A book to talk about images, meanings and suggestions, a beautiful book to feel good.
