1 Hello fellow NENA Conference Attendees, The NENA Conference Committee has a superb weekend planned for you in Philadelphia at Temple University. Attached to this email is a file that includes the Program at a Glance with a detailed timeline of activities. Also, you will find the Agenda for Sunday mornings NENA Federation meeting and the minutes from the last NENA meeting held in NYC. The NENA Conference Committee has a superb weekend planned for you in Philadelphia at Temple University.

Attached to this email is a file that includes the Program at a Glance with a detailed timeline of activities. Also, you

will find the Agenda for Sunday mornings NENA Federation meeting and the minutes from the last NENA meeting

held in NYC.

As part of the conference, The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) wants hear from each of us

in order for them to best serve the needs of hospitality educators through textbooks and supplemental resources. They

want to know how you select titles, your preferred content delivery methods, the supplements that work best with your

students, and more. AHLEI will have scheduled two Focus Group sessions; we encourage you to attend ONE of the

sessions:

❖ Sunday, April 2, 8:15-9:15 a.m. “Educating for the Future—How Do We Get There from Here”

You do not need to RSVP to attend a specific Focus Group, please simply plan to attend at least one focus group session.

According to the Weather Channel, Philly will be experiencing 60-degree weather all weekend, with a possibility of

rain showers on Sunday. So, dress to enjoy the spring weather. Please see the next few pages for additional detailed

information regarding the entire weekend. However, please pay special attention if you are planning to participate in

the Friday tours attire is business casual for the tours; however, do not wear jeans as the Union League has a slightly

more formal dress-code compared to Sysco & Aramark. Please also make sure to have your ID with you, as you

will need it for the tours.

Finally, if you are interested in signing up for one of the planned dinners, there is still availability to join the group
