Introduction

How do you ensure high quality master data in your SAP system without spending a fortune on software?

One of the main reasons behind Consol’s decisions to work with GlueData to implement Simple Data Management

SDM uses standard SAP functions to embed master data quality directly into the SAP screens

This means a shorter time to value as there is limited change management required for end users

The SDM solution is based around SAP Business Rules Framework, which is a dynamic rules framework that allows rules to be built with no coding

SDM is saving Consol money and time in managing their material master data

1. Leveraging existing investment.

2. Partnering with the correct technology partner

3. Low cost solution

4. Rapid time to value

5. Extensible

We make Glass not IT

How do we use IT to make glass?

Background to Manufacturing

Older manufacturing industries mostly IT conservative.

Older technology base, sweeting the assets

Down to earth, physical and practical, tried and tested

Engineering orientated, sceptical of all the hype

4th Industrial evolution rather the revolution

Cost orientated (IT budget is around 1% of revenue)
