THE HISTORY OF A-STYLEHow the A-Style brand was bornThe idea came from a sentence that had been read by

chance in which the letter “i” was next to a capital “A”.

There was a spontaneous association: it looked like

a dog (obviously!). By adding a second dot, the dog’s

owner appeared, but there was still something missing.

And after a few adjustments it all became clear - two

people in a romantic embrace.

A-Style spreads the worldInitially the brand was printed on coloured stickers

simple and cheap - that launched A-Style.

A-Style on the roadStarting from Milan the stickers spread around the

ZRUOG��,Q�$PVWHUGDP�VRPHERG\�HYHQ�PRGL¿HG�WKH�URDG�

signs to “A-Style” them!

4 million yellow pieces of confetti with the A-Style

logo rained down a famous fashion tradeshow in Milan.

They were handed out in small sachets and sent to

journalists from all the important names in the fashion

press, surprising both visitors and the media. Being

QRWLFHG�LV�WKH�¿UVW�YLFWRU\�LQ�WKLV�JXHUULOOD�ZDUIDUH�

Hitting the front page of Times Sport without spending

a penny. This is what you get with a little imagination

and a bit of good luck: Armstrong was immortalised on

one of the famous hairpin bends during the Alpe d’Huez

stage wearing the yellow t-shirt, which “just happened”

to be A-Style.

A-Style in WorldvisionFrom a “guerrilla´�FDPSDLJQ�WR�RI¿FLDO�VSRQVRU�RI�WKH�moto GP: the connection between A-Style and the

world on two wheels has been further reinforced, giving

the Dutch circuit of Assen and the Japanese circuit of

Motegi a yellow makeover.
