Editorial
May was a busy month in the village with many events and the weather was kind, culminating with the Royal
Wedding celebrations and a fabulously successful Picnic Ball. The next major event is the Towersey Fete with all
proceeds going to St Catherine’s church and there is lots of information on the fete in this edition. We hope another
good day is had by all.

Towersey Community Arts Project is a group that exists to encourage and support all kinds of artistic and
creative activities in the village for adults and children.
Plans are progressing for the next wonderful Towersey Theatrical Production: a Review/Cabaret earmarked
for Autumn next year. No particular talents or theatre skills are required, just enthusiasm, a sense of
humour and a wish to socialise and get involved.
Everyone is warmly invited to our next Annual Planning & Review Meeting (including AGM). The
Committee would love to hear your ideas – including for dramatic performances, workshops, music, art
groups, films, creative arts etc. – so we can plan our events and activities for the remainder of 2018/19.
If you are interested to be involved in any way, this is your chance to sign up, or just come along to find out
more or for a chat and a cup of tea.
