Adopt a Refugee Program has been commenced from this month.

HHF along with UNHCR operational partner has rolled out the “ Adopt a Refugee’ program where in 40 destitute refugees who are widows, single mothers, physically and mentally challenged are being provided Ration worth Rs 1100 and Rs 400 towards monthly expenses.

Aamir Rizwan, 18yrs, who case was posted last month underwent a successfully a corrective Ostectomy to repair his knee ball position, which had moved 2 inches below. HHF paid Rs 1.3 lacs for the surgery and the Aamir has been discharged from the hospital.

Mrs. Dilshad Khatoon, 32yrs, suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease. By the grace of Allah, her Renal Transplant has been done at Yashoda Hospital for which HHF has partly supported Rs. 1.50 Lacs – her case was listed in CADAVER

Mr. Askar Ali, 45yrs, He was suffering from Osteoarthritis and Total Knee Replacement Surgery done at Olive Hospital by Dr. Ali Mehdi, HHF has paid Rs. 25,000/-

Syed Imtiaz Ali Abedi, 30yrs, Old RTA Case, both Hip Joints fracture, a Total Hip Replacement done by Dr. Mirza Atif Baig at Apple Hospital for which HHF has paid Rs. 50,000/-

Mr. Qurram Mohammed Khan, 17yrs He accidentally fell and got knee injury, Lateral Meniscus Tear (Lt) Knee for which Arthroscopy done by Dr. Mirza Atif Baig at Apple Hospital, HHF has paid Rs. 25,000/-

Master. Sk. Farooq, 10yrs He was suffering from a rare spinal cord deformity - Lipomeningocele. Spine Surgery done by Dr. Sri Ram Chandra at Lakshmi Neuro Centre, HHF has paid Rs. 50,000/-

Ms. Farheen Fatima, 16yrs She was suffering from Cholesteatoma Right Ear and Mastoid Exploration Surgery done by Dr. K Nagaraj (ENT Surgeon) at Sri Venkateshwara Nursing Home, HHF has paid Rs. 25,000/-

Mr. Syed Mustafa, 26yrs He was suffering from Vericocele and Left Micro Surgical Varicocelectomy done by Dr. Bhargav Reddy at Ramayya Pramilla Urology Hospital, HHF has paid Rs. 20,000/-

Mr. Mohammed Nazeer, 42yrs, Last year he met with a Road Accident and implant surgery was done, later implant removal procedure was done, HHF has supported for both the surgeries and now he wanted to do his own business for which HHF has partly supported him to buy an Auto on Finance. HHF has paid Rs. 25,000/-

Disabled Child Support – covers over 40 children with Chronic Diseases & Thalassemia Major cases – Monthly out flow Rs 80,000/-

Disability Support for Bread winners – over 120 cases are registered and monthly Rs 75,000/- is marked for this.

Young Widows & Orphans Support – Over 60 cases are registered and HHF gives Rents, Pensions, School Fees – Monthly out flow Rs 1,80,000/-

Cancer & Kidney Support – covers all support for patients who are finding no means to bear the medical expenses for treatment. In CKD cases monthly allowance of Rs 3000 per patient and all medical emergencies are covered.

Physiotherapy for Patients – HHF has started Physiotherapy support to the patients who are young and on Bed Ridden, Two physiotherapist visits patients home, monthly expenses are Rs. 25,000/-

“At an Average 25 cases visit us every day & 50 – 60 on the Weekend OP. In summary we see about 700 – 750 distressed people in a month who are poor & need financial support for their survival”.
