Stillwater Consulting is a corporate training and consulting firm that specializes in leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Our primary areas of focus are:

Leadership effectiveness We conduct highly experiential and challenging self awareness programs in which managers become aware of the subconscious beliefs they have that get in the way of inspiring others and delivering results. Executive coaching We provide skilled executive coaches that work with high potentials and senior managers over an extended period of time to support them transition to the next level of leadership effectiveness Customized soft skills workshops We work with managers on managerial and communication skills. We have the ability to design customized programs in close partnership with Business Heads and Client HR that augment existing corporate frameworks and are directly aligned to organizational strategy.

1. Our specialization

2. Our differentiator

Our core competency lies in our ability to: •  Generate commitment in participants through

skilful conversations that help them to identify their beliefs that can get in the way of inspiring others and delivering superior results.

•  Design the follow up systems and processes that are required to support sustainable and demonstrably visible behaviour change back in the workplace.

The Stillwater range extension model There are 9 key steps in making a developmental program work: 1.  Intellectual understanding: Leadership theory is usually covered by most programs, but this is only the first step. 2.  Self awareness: Participants take an honest look in the mirror at their actual behaviours. 3.  Emotional arousal: Participants see where their habits are at odds with their values. Cognitive dissonance provides a strong motivation to change. 4.  Choice: Participants compare the benefits and prices of acquiring new leadership behaviours with those of continuing with existing habits. 5.  Declaration: Participants publicly commit to the developmental goals they will be working on. 6.  Planning: Participants consider the actions, practices and support systems they will need to internalize new behaviours. 7.  Practice: Participants implement their learning back at work, often with the support of an executive coach to internalize and deepen new habits. 8.  Maintenance: New habits have been created but managers can slip back under pressure. Our quarterly newsletters remind them to keep practicing, 9.  Completion: New behaviours have been internalized. Greater challenges are taken on and the developmental cycle begins again at the next level

3. Our work

Sample program We have partnered with ABG to roll out one of the largest most structured internal coaching certification programs in India. We also deliver their flagship leadership development program – consistently the highest rated program at their global learning centre since 2006.

Mid level high potentials Our work with mid level high potential managers (7+ years of experience) includes both comprehensive leadership development programs that take place over an extended period with coaching support, and shorter, customized, skill based workshops. Clients include CRISIL, HT Media, Kraft Foods, Jindal Steel, Idea Cellular, etc.

Young leaders & trainees We are India’s premier leadership training firm for management trainees and young leaders. We deliver the leadership programs at this level for HUL, Aditya Birla, Godrej, Teach for India, HT Media, HDFC Life, etc.

Senior leaders On programs for senior leaders (15+ years of experience) we often collaborate with our international partners ‘The Works Partnership’, who provide us experienced experiential trainers. We have worked with over 300 managers at both HUL and the Aditya Birla Group, Senior Directors at CRISIL, Executive Directors at Indian Oil, etc

Sample program At HUL we delivered a three day program for 50 management trainees structured around a strategy negotiation team war game. Participants competed and collaborated with other teams and we interspersed game sessions with results debriefs and linkages to relevant leadership theory and typical work scenarios. This provided participants an engaging and valuable bridge from academic to corporate life.

Sample program We worked with the top 40 managers of CRISIL as they looked to proactively develop the leadership mindsets and skills required to handle the dramatic increase in scale and complexity they expected to arise as they looked to increase their turnover tenfold in the next decade. The four month program involved leadership awareness and coaching skills workshops and six hours of executive coaching as they implemented their learning through a business project.

7. Our rates

Our standard rates are as follows:

Stillwater Consulting Trainers Rs. 75,000 – 100,000 per day Stillwater Consulting Coaches Rs. 20,000 per hour (Shivesh)

Rs. 15,000 per hour (Kanishka) Rs. 15,000 per hour (Girish) Rs. 10,,000 per hour (Avantika)

•  These rates do not include service tax, any reimbursable withholding tax for International trainers and other reimbursable expenses relating to travel,

accommodation, workshop material printing, training rooms, etc. •  These rates are subject to revision

Our philosophy on billing rates:

We believe in charging all our Indian clients the same billing rates for standard projects. We understand that this means that we may lose some clients who would have been content with a slightly lower rate, and that we may miss out on opportunities where we could have potentially charged certain clients more. However we prefer the clarity this generates both, for ourselves, and for our clients. Based on client budget and objectives, we can tailor the structure of our programs to cater to a wide variety of price points.

International Senior Trainers US$ 5,000 per day International Senior Coaches US$ 500 per hour International Coaches US$ 250 per hour
