Greek Name My god’s Greek name is Heracles.

Roman Name My god’s Roman name is Hercules.

Biography Hercules was not a full god. His mom was

mortal and his dad was the king of gods. When Hercules was little a girl named Juno was jealous of him. When he was a baby she put snakes in his crib but he crushed them.

Myth His cousin Eurystheus hated Hercules .

Eurytheus designed 12 difficult missions that he thought would kill Hercules but he survived all of them. Eurytheus didn’t want Hercules coming after his crown . Hercules never wanted his crown. Eurytheus kept trying to kill Hercules but he never did.

More about the myth Eurytheus hated Hercules because he

was more liked.

Lesson Hercules learned to only use his power

for good.

My lesson If you have something that will help you

don’t use it for bad.

Alike We are both calm and well behaved.

Different He is super strong and I am not. He is buff and I am skinny. He has power and I don’t. He is a man and I am a girl.

If Heracules were alive today

He would possibly be a pro boxer. He could also be a great weight lifter. If he was alive I would want him to come to our school. That would be awesome!

Poem Hercules was so strong he could squash

your guts. Hercules is so tall we all look like ants.

We would have to yell for him to know what we say. We might be the size of his pinky. Our voices are squeaky to him.
