Ages 2-5. Join us for stories, fingerplays, songs and a craft.
No registration required.
Wednesdays, April 5, 12, 19 & 26 Mother Goose Storytime. 10:00 a.m.
Ages birth-24 months. Join us for a lap-sit storytime filled with songs, stories,
fingerplays and nursery rhymes, followed by a group playtime. No registration
required.
Fridays, April 7, 14, 21 & 28 Songs & Stories. NEW TIME 10:30 a.m.
Now at a NEW TIME! Come and sing songs, hear stories, and have fun!
Craft and group playtime will follow. Ages birth to 4 years old. No registration
required.
Tuesday 4/4 Technology Petting Zoo. 3:30 p.m. Ever wanted to try out the latest and greatest in
technology for kids? Come to the library and give our new technology a spin. Choose from our
KIBO robots to our LEGO WeDo kits, and watch our 3D printer in action. All ages. No registration
required.
Tuesday 4/4 Meeting of the Board of Trustees. 6:30 p.m. All are welcome!
Wednesday 4/5 Pokémon Go Lure Drops & Trading Card Game. 2:00 p.m. Come and join other
Pokémon trainers as you compete to see who is the very best! We will drop two lures for an hour of
Pokémon catching fun! The trainer who catches the top CP Pokémon during this time will be
awarded a prize! And while you are waiting for those Pokémon to appear, try your hand at learning
the Pokémon Trading Card Game! All ages. No registration required.
Wednesday 4/5 Curious About Cuisine. 2:00 p.m. This month we’re scooping into the topic of
Homemade Ice Cream! Free and open to the public. No registration required. Meeting held on
the library mezzanine - newcomers are always welcome!
Thursday 4/6 Bill Sano presents, “Broadway’s Two Stephens”. 10:00 am - noon. Please join us for
another fun musical lecture series led by the one and only, Bill Sano! This Spring the topic for the
four-installment series is, "Broadway's Two Stephens: Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Schwartz".
Lectures held at the Meeting House on the Common. Free and open to the public, no registration is
required. Light refreshments will be served. Series generously sponsored by the Friends of the Lynnfield Library.
Thursday 4/6 Trivia Thursday. 3:00 p.m. Come and challenge your friends and test your

Network for 45 minutes of fun and learning. We will gather to sing, do a craft, read a book, and maybe even

Monday 4/24 Officer Storytime. 10:00 a.m. Our normal Monday storytime will be visited by
a very special guest, a local police officer! Come and hear stories about policemen and learn
all about what an officer does. Ages 2-5. No registration required.
Monday 4/24 Songbirds of the Northeast. 3:00 p.m. Naturalist John Root will share photographs and
recordings of our region’s songbirds. John will discuss the role of song in these birds' lives as
well as their diet, social behavior, and other adaptations they’ve made for survival. During the
lecture he will also share tips and ideas on how to provide an attractive habitat for songbirds in
your own backyard. Held at the Meeting House on the Common. Free and open to the public,
no registration is required. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lynnfield Cultural Council, a local agency with is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, with additional funding provided by the Friends of the Lynnfield Library.

Wednesday 4/26 STEAM School for Preschoolers, by Curious Kids Lynnfield. 1:00 p.m. Join us in the
Children’s Room for a FREE class that integrates concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts
and Math into a storytime. Ages 3-4. Registration is required (limited to 10 children).

The Lynnfield Public Library has Massachusetts Tax Forms available on the Tax Table outside the Genealogy Room on the first floor under the mezzanine. We have received Federal 1040 and 1040EZ Forms & Instructions and1040A Forms & Instructions.

May 4 at 6:00 p.m. - award winning author and American Historian Kate Clifford
Larson to discuss her book, “Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter”.
May 11 at 6:30 p.m. Ted Reinstein of WCVB’s Chronicle, makes a return to Lynnfield
to talk about his second book, “Wicked Pissed: New England’s Most Famous Feuds”.
May 18 at 7:00 p.m. BookLovers is joining forces with the Lynnfield Historical Society
to bring in New York Times bestselling author, Michael Tougias on to discuss “So
Close to Home”.
May 25 at 6:00 p.m. Grant Welker will discuss “We Are Market Basket” the remarkable
and truly unique story that captured our attention and kept us on the edge of our
seats in 2014.
