– The initiative phase (1999-2002) included the development of more than 50 how-to cultural heritage tourism curriculum materials, a high-quality publication of cultural heritage tourism success stories and four pilot workshops.

– To date, a total of twenty Share Your Heritage workshops have been funded. Sessions include cross-discipline training, cultural heritage tourism instruction using expert national and local faculty and interactive training and problem solving exercises.
