January 18th 2012 What is it?- An event held at a

Miami University men’s basketball game to raise awareness for people who use AAC devices for speech communication. We also try to raise money for a scholarship to purchase an AAC device

Cincinnati Walk For Kids-3 mile walk

Saturday, October 15 Coney Island, 6201 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH

45230-7199 8 am   Walker Check-In Opens 10 am  Opening Ceremony with walk starting

immediately after 1 pm   Event Ends Free! They ask each walker raise at least $25 to

participate in the event. If you raise $25, you get a t-shirt!

Teen Night In- Cincinnati Center for Autism

Saturday, October 15 6-9 pm Teens meet at CCA for pizza, games and supported

socialization.  The central focus of this event will be refining designs, practicing on ‘dummy’ pumpkins and coming up with final material lists.

Friday, October 21 5- 7 pm meet at CCA to complete their racing Pumpkin.  CCA staff

will secure pumpkins, and transport to ASGC Great Pumpkin Race event on October 22, if preferred by the team.

Great Pumpkin Race- Cincinnati Center for Autism

Saturday, October 22 ASGC Great Pumpkin Race!  Teens [with caregiver present]

and CCA staff meet at Ault Park to participate in the second annual Great Pumpkin Race event.

The event is 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Volunteers may assist with activities, such as face painting and pumpkin decorating. They would love to have some artistic volunteers for these two activities specifically. Volunteers can arrive at 9:00 a.m. and then can plan to leave by 3:00 p.m. after break down. 

More information will be provided at a later date

Dance Marathon Saturday, November 12, 2011 noon-midnight Registration deadlines:

$15 - register before October 7th

$20 – register between October 7st and October 21st

$25 – register between October 21st and November 4th

What's included? All 3 meals and snacks included along with a team t-shirt A fun-filled day helping raise money For The Kids and The

Email Amelia Bergmann if you are interested in volunteering with the Cincinnati Center for Autism (CCA) or walking in the Cincinnati Walk for Kids

Fundraising Event! NSSLHA will be having an event with the Remnants on

November 4th at Top Deck The Remnants will perform their concert, and the proceeds

($2 admission at the door) and a portion of the food purchased between the hours of 4 & 8 will go towards Sponsored Silence

Print out a food voucher (will be available online) so we can get a portion of the profits

Concert will begin at 8:30 pm. Invite your friends, big/little, EVERYONE!

TOMORROW Shriver Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) 9:00 am- 4:00 pm The Speech and Hearing Clinic will have a table set up to explain

what our clinic offers for Miami University employees and families We need people to sign up to stand at the table and greet people.

If you are working through the lunch hour, lunch will be provided. To sign up- come see Brooke after the meeting, we will have a

sign up sheet for you!
