Betty Campbell1934 – 2017This resource is suitable for Key Stage 2 pupils and the activities will teach about historical events that have affected the way of life in Wales today. The content covers elements of the National Literacy and Numeracy Framework and the Digital Competence Framework.

Aim: Understand how Betty Campbell’s contribution influenced the lives of people living in Wales today.

IntroductionBetty Campbell was a woman who was an inspiration. She was born in Butetown in 1934 to a working-class family. She was a strong, brave, enterprising and determined person.
