Pixel Type

I decided to look in to the pixel art and more speci�cally the typography style used in pixel art. The pixel art style has made a comeback in recent years taking inspiration from old nintendo video games, the most successful game being ‘Minecraft’. I really like the simplicity of using blocks (pixels) to create images and type but also how more complex looking designs can be created using di�erent coloured blocks to add shade and detail. I also like the retro vibe the pixel text creates and how it could also be used to advertise technology.
