Hi, I’m Caitlin. I have been
working at Harvey Nash for the past 7
months. I started as a recruitment
administrator and have moved into business
support. This is actually my first job and I’m really enjoying it.
I love live music and hope to go to a few
festivals over summer.
Hi my name is Amanda or otherwise known as Mandy.
I from Maynooth in Kildare but living in Dublin the past 8 years.
I am a recent graduate of DCU and studied education and training and have over 10 years’ experience in
the retail industry. Having taking a big move to come away from retail and go back to education as a mature student has
really paid off. I have deeply grown as a person professionally and
personally over the years and have set myself up for a successful career path.
Harvey Nash to me is the perfect opportunity for this as I have just started as a IT Recruitment resourcer. This roles allows me to develop my communication
skills and for me to manage the needs and expectations of all clients and candidates.
I am passionate about powerlifting and have entered strength competitions in the past.
I have strong commitments and always give 110% to everything and everyone I love….
Hi my name is Siobhan,
Here at Harvey Nash, I work on the Finance and Banking Team. I hold an MSc in
Occupational Psychology which has really enabled me match candidates to suitable organisations based on their personality
and culture fit. After university, I spent two years travelling and ended up in OZ where
my husband and I were lucky enough to gain sponsorship. After that I spent about 5 years in Sales which was great fun and very
fast paced. I moved into recruitment as I enjoy working with people; it’s high performance and you meet some
fascinating people. I love nothing more than good food and fine wine- who doesn’t?! I’m passionate about animal welfare and when I’m not dining out, I love to put my feet up
and trawl through Netflix!
Dia dhuit! I’m Alan and I’ve been in Harvey
Nash since October 2014. I came in as a graduate straight from my MSc. in eCommerce from DCU. I
also have an MSc. in Business and Entrepreneurship from DIT and a
BSc. in Sports and Exercise Management from UCD.
I’m really enjoying my time here at Harvey Nash, we have a great team
culture here and that’s really important to me. I have a keen
interest in technology and getting to talk and learn more about it every day really engages me.
I love sport. GAA fanatic – I play senior hurling for St. Judes and
sleep with my hurl under my pillow. Go N'éirí on bóthar leat
Hi I’m Liam and I’m from Derry. I’ve spent the last 6years in England, working in both
CP security and as a Manager within events and outdoor leisure. I decided I missed the more relaxed Irish life, so felt it was time to return ‘home’. I had an
interest in recruitment for a significant time, upon hearing about Harvey Nash, I felt that this was the avenue I would be best suited in my pursue of this
career. Since joining HN, it’s been a steep learning curve all the way, but I’ve loved every challenge and love the
team, I look forward to seeing what I can achieve and aim to push myself all the way. Outside of work, my biggest passion is the gym, I hope to also pursue
my interesting in bodybuilding and possibly competing in the future.
Hi, I’m Siobhan and I’m from Cork. I have just completed a degree in Human Resource
Management and Organisational Psychology from the University of Limerick. During this
time, I completed an 8-month work experience programme in Uniphar Group in Dublin as a HR Co-Op. Here, I gained valuable insight into the
world of HR. This also gave me the opportunity to see where I wanted to progress with my
career. Here is where I found my passion for recruitment.
I have just graduated from UL in May and have just started as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant with Harvey Nash in their Cork office. I am very excited to kick-start my career in recruitment consultancy. Outside of work I enjoy all things
regarding socialising and undoing the damage in the gym!
Hi! I’m Aaron and I’m from Wicklow.
I started off in the service industry – working as an
Assistant Manager at Yo!Sushi, I realised I wanted a new
challenge. I love people and I’m very interested in technology. I took an internship in a medical
recruitment agency before transferring to the world of IT
Recruitment. I’m a Level 1 Recruitment Consultant now with Harvey Nash and I’m loving it. I also love the outdoors, puppies
and playing the ukulele.
Stephen here,
I am an IADT Business & Entrepreneurship graduate who recently returned to Ireland
after a year working in the USA as an Access Database developer at the largest privately held bank in the United States
FNBO.
I come from a Sales background having worked in the Telecommunications and
Music Industry .After my time spent in an IT focused, environment I decided to begin a
career in IT recruiting to combine my people skills with my IT knowledge.
I find the unpredictability of working with people as opposed to data means you
never know what will happen and it helps keep things fresh.
Right now I’m focused on making new lasting connections and helping them
connections find the right role.Remember - "You miss 100% of the shots
you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky
Hey! My names Kevin and I’m from Cork. After graduating from a bachelor of business in 2012, I spent 9 months
working in the insurance industry for Aviva health care, then made the very
wise decision to flee the country entirely and ended up in Australia where I spend a further 9 months
before heading for Auckland in and another role in the insurance industry.
Coming back to Ireland I knew for certain Insurance was not for me but I
did enjoy the people centric side to the role and the more I researched
recruiting I felt it was the role for me. I’m sports mad, with Liverpool being
the basis of most of this madness also a big fan of horse racing.
Hi I'm Eadaoin and hail from Dublin!..... ( sounds a bit like I am announcing myself on Britain’s Got
Talent...)
I worked with Hays before HN and most of this time I was onsite in Citi looking after their contract
recruitment desk. HN were one of my key suppliers and always performed with solid delivery, quick response and quality candidates. So, when I got
itchy feet and was looking to move from Hays, HN were an easy choice. Always run with the winners -
eh?
So, here I am with the biggest bunch of over achievers! The guys in here are truly top of their game and really live up to their reputation. I am
back to my roots, agency side and have a lot to live up to! - all good though, I laugh a lot ( an awful
lot!) every day, which is really important to me and get to learn from the best.
My only current anzt is whether to purchase a puppy.... currently I have 2 kids and 1 cat. Alan reckons I should get 2 puppies, so they can be
company for each other. Not sure tho, approximate size of my house is portionate to the pod I work
on... so will have to ponder some more on this one.
Will keep you informed tho, on matters relating to overachievers and puppies!
Eadaoin x
