• Banha (also spelled Benha )is a city in northeastern Egypt, also the capital of the Qaliubiya Governorate .

• It’s old Pharaonic name was (Brnha) or (banaho) and so It became the Banha

• And the name of Banha 'broken B' consists of two syllables 'my' and meaning 'house' or barn and 'Nha', meaning tree sycamore, as though Banha meaning 'fold sycamore', which have had significant at the ancient Egyptians, making him the coffins, furniture and statues.

• Egyptians call it Banha Elasal which means "Sweet like honey" , this nomenclature originally comes from , when the prophet muhammed sent his massage to Elmoqwqs to get into Islam ,

he replied by sending him gifts one them was Ms maria who was from Upper Egypt and jar of honey after the prophet tasted it he asked "where is it from ?" they replayed "from Benha" he said " god bless Benha and its sons".
