We are very pleased to have you visiting Hidden Valley Ranch and hope the following will be helpful during your stay.

Hidden Valley Ranch RV Resort

• The shower/restrooms are open 24 hours a day.• Office hours are Mon-Sat 9 am - 4 pm. Sun -

Closed• Our Laundry opens with 1st washer load at

6:30 am and last washer load at 8:15 pm. Please help our septic system by NOT USING THE WASHERS IN YOUR RVs. Quarters are available from the Office. Washers run for approximately 30 minutes, dryers for 45 minutes. Clotheslines or clothes hanging are allowed only at the clothesline provided near the laundry.

• The recreation room is open 24 hours a day. You are welcome to join any activities, scheduled or non-scheduled. Games, puzzles and fellowship usually occur nightly. Coffee is available. (Bring your own cup.) Soda, ice and ice cream are also available.

• A courtesy phone is located inside the recreation room.

• Mail— Outgoing mail may be dropped in the mailbox in the recreation room and is usually picked up between 9:30 am and 11 am Monday through Saturday. Incoming mail is usually available after 11 am in the mailboxes next to the Office.

• PETS are allowed everywhere on the ranch but not in our buildings (service animals exempt). You must pick up after your pet everywhere on the Ranch and in the desert. Pet waste must be bagged and disposed of in the Trash Trailer. Coyotes and bobcats have been known to enter the Ranch day or night. They could harm unattended pets, so please DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED.

• ALL PETS MUST BE LEASHED, UNLESS THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE ELECTRIC FENCE THAT SURROUNDS THE RANCH.

• Trash must be tied in plastic bags and placed in the Trash Trailer located near the laundry. Please crush boxes. Aluminum cans may be deposited in the bin next to the propane bottle plant.

• Please do not use ELECTRIC HEATERS OR ELECTRIC DRYERS in your RV.

• Please respect the privacy of others by not walking through occupied sites or lease lots.

• Propane (prices are posted) is available with same day service. Drop off tanks before noon at the propane filling station with your name and site number marked on the tank. Tanks will be filled at noon and may be picked up after noon and paid for at the Office. Motorhomes may make arrangements in the Office, ahead of time, for an appointment at the propane filling station.

• ABSOLUTELY NO OIL CHANgINg ON THE ENTIRE RANCH. NO VEHICLE WASHINg. PLEASE SEE MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO ANY HEAVY MECHANICAL WORk.

• Trails for ATVs, mountain bikes and hiking are available for your enjoyment. ATVs, BIkES AND ALL VEHICLES MUST STAY ON THE TRAILS AND ROADS. All ATVs and MOTORBIkES must be licensed and insured by their owners or operators. Hidden Valley Ranch is not responsible for theft or accidents. We consider this land a treasure and want to maintain it for your enjoyment as well as the future enjoyment of others. Please help us preserve our environment.

• DUST is a normal part of our desert environment; please help minimize it by driving slowly, by not “cruising” the Ranch, and by not driving through sites.

The surrounding desert and hills contain many treasures for those who take the time to seek them out. The desert soil and vegetation are very fragile: enjoy them, but please respect them. Water is one of the most precious commodities in our desert environment. Please conserve water by following a few conservation guidelines:

1) Please be sure all faucets are turned off, your RV water hose is not leaking, and limit the back flushing of holding tanks to two minutes.

2) Night time temperatures in the winter can drop below freezing. Please fill your fresh water tank, turn off our water faucet and disconnect your hose whenever temperatures are predicted to drop below freezing. DO NOT ALLOW FAUCETS TO DRIP TO PREVENT FREEZINg, this practice is a waste of water. Thank you for your cooperation.
