CongratulationstoRischelleandMakenziGrosenbach!Theybothauditionedwiththeirflutesandwereacceptedintothe2021OregonAll-StateSymphonicBand.Inlightofthepandemic,thiseventwillnotactuallytakeplacethisyear,butOMEAchosetoholdauditions,givefeedback,andhonorthosewhoplayedatalevelhighenoughtoqualifyfortheband.It’ssuchanhonortobechosenandwehopethatRischelle,Makenzi,andotherbandmemberswillbeabletoattendthein-personeventinfutureyears.

OurhighschoolChristmasBanquetisscheduledforSaturday,December5intheSCGym.TicketsaleswillcloseNovember20,sodon’tdelay.
Toaccommodatedistancingandsafetyguidelines,twoseatingoptionswillbeofferedatboth5pmand8pmandnomorethan50peoplewillbeseatedineacharea.TicketscanbepurchasedonlineatChristmasBanquetpage.Whenpurchasingtickets,youwillselectyourtimepreferenceandupto4peopleyou’dliketositwith.Seatingwillbeassignedasticketsarepurchased,andwewilldoourbesttoaccommodaterequestswhileadheringtodistancingandcapacityguidelines.Masks
will be requiredwhenstudentsarenotseatedattheirtables.
