General Information
Series 804 High-Speed Mighty Mouse Plug and Receptacle ConnectorsSeries 804 quick-disconnect offers environmental sealing and rugged design in a lightweight, push-pull package. Ideal for breakaway connections, the Series 804 QDC High-Speed connector features a stainless steel spring in the receptacle and a detent on the plug body. Used for headsets, radios, weapons and other applications, the QDC Mighty Mouse meets immersion requirements and provides excellent durability. The gold-plated spring provides low shell-to-shell resistance for excellent EMI shielding. A fluorosilicone o-ring provides a watertight seal when mated. PCB mount versions also available.
High-Speed PerformanceSeries 804 High-Speed Mighty Mouse connectors are constructed with a rear grommet for environmental sealing. This grommet can be removed in order to maintain the construction of the matched impedance pair cable for a longer distance inside the connector for improved high-speed performance (see tables below.) However, removal of the grommet affects environmental sealing. For optimal high-speed performance and environmental sealing, Glenair recommends our factory-terminated overmolded cordsets. Full ordering information begins on page Q-12.
