Higher education facilities have the unique ability to dramatically influence and enhance the learning process. The architectural environment, if designed thoughtfully, can be a catalyst for learning and can stimulate creativity for both students and faculty. In addition, excellent design can dramatically influence mind, character, and body. It is for these reasons that Atkins places such a strong emphasis on this market. Nothing is more rewarding than designing and building a facility that will positively influence young minds for decades to come.
Atkins designers know that compelling higher education projects must enhance and complement the client’s architectural program. Because this program is the foundation upon which all future design decisions are made, a thorough and well-documented program
