Celebrate Autumn in HIGHLAND PERTHSHIRE!
www.enchantedforest.org.uk
A warm welcome to a host of autumn events in one of the most beautiful and vibrant areas in the British Isles.Nature and community combine forces to give visitors to the area a real taste of Highland Perthshire. From ghost tours to magical woodlands, music festivals to adventure activities and wildlife, Highland Perthshire is THE place to be this autumn. Take a look at some of the events on offer in our ‘What’s On!’ calendar and explore the brochure for more information on places to eat and stay.
The Highland Perthshire Area Community Interest Company (known as the CIC) is a not-for-profit community organisation, which seeks to develop and maintain the economic benefits of major events in Highland Perthshire. Run by local people, for local people, the CIC manages and delivers The Enchanted Forest, which attracts over 26,000 visitors. In addition, this year the CIC has made donations to help three local organisations.

FLOW: The Enchanted ForestFaskally Woods, PitlochryFriday 5 – Saturday 27 OctoberThis year’s Enchanted Forest is called Flow. Taking its inspiration from the dynamic elements of water and trees, plants and animals of Faskally Woods, Flow seeks to enhance these elements and their movement through the forest by interconnecting them using light and sound.
We are very pleased that, under The Year of Creative Scotland 2012, we have commissioned world renowned Visual Artists Dalziel and Scullion to work alongside our award winning lighting and sound designers, Simon Wilkinson and R.J. McConnell. This creative collaboration will add a new dimension to the Enchanted Forest and to Flow.
Also new this year is our Storyteller, Claire Hewitt (accredited by the Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh), who has taken up residence in a cosy Yurt, hidden in the forest.
