fore the opening of the
2015 Tropical Show at El San Juan Hotel and
Casino. In this free
seminar by Paul, he ex-
plained all the benefits
that PPAI has to offer
to our associations and
how his organization can help CASA to be more profitable. He presented important ideas and sugges-
tions to the new board. He also explained several graphics showing how we
stood financially compared to other PPAI associations. He made emphasis on the
importance of the RAC delegate, the Leadership Development Workshop event in
Irving Texas and of the benefits of having representation at the PPAI Expo in Las
Vegas.

Business Consultant Dawnna St Louis To Speak On Women Leaders At WLC
In her closing general session at PPAI’s Women’s Leadership Conference, business consultant and author
Dawnna St Louis will ask her audience to be the sort of leader that they’d be willing to follow. St Louis’ session
is part of the extensive education schedule in place for the 11th annual PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference,
running July 27-29 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Prior to launching her business consulting and training firm, The Platform Expert, St Louis was co-founder and
COO of an international business intelligence consultancy that provided solutions for government agencies, cor-
porations and private industries around the world. She has certifications in technology-based languages, Six
Sigma and project management. She is also the author of Mojo Mogul – Discover Your Unique Power to Mag-
netize, Captivate and Influence; Audacious Acts of Successful Women and YOLO – Standing on the Ledge of
Life and Leaping Towards Your Future.
In her session at WLC, scheduled at 3:15 – 4:30 pm on July 29, St Louis will shine a spotlight on the sort the
leaders who aren’t afraid to blaze trails and embrace crazy ideas, or to invite criticism. Leaders like these, she
says, get their teams to follow and perform beyond expectations. Her session in New Orleans will focus on
championing bold ideas and educate her audience on tapping into their strengths, leading self-motivated teams
and discovering their influence.
More than 90 women from promotional products companies have already signed up for WLC 2015, bringing to-gether many of the industry’s best and brightest.

CASA dice presente en foro sobre el IVA

El 19 de marzo por invitación de la Cámara de Comercio CASA estuvo presente
en el foro titulado REFORMA CONTRIBUTIVA 2015: ALTERNATIVAS PARA EL PAIS Y
NUESTROS NEGOCIOS. Dicho foro se transmitió via internet a través de la Cáma-
ra de Comercio de Puerto Rico, Telemundo, Noti Uno y El Nuevo Día. Las per-
sonas que representaron a CASA fueron Silvia Gonzalez M (Presidente) Sandra
Villegas, CPA (Secretaria) y Manolo Saldaña (Director). El panel estuvo com-
puesto por el Secretario de Hacienda Juan Zaragoza CPA, el Presidente del
Colegio de CPA Kermit Lucena CPA, el Ex presidente de la Cámara de Comer-
cio de Puerto Rico Lcdo. Jorge M. Cañellas, el Director de la Oficina de Gerencia
y Presupuesto (OGP) Luis Cruz CPA, y el Presidente de la Cámara de Comercio
Ing. José M. Izquierdo.
CASA tuvo la oportunidad que se aceptara una de sus preguntas para ser
dirigida al Secretario de Hacienda. La respuesta a esta pregunta se envió a la
membresía mediante correo electrónico el 26 de marzo del año corriente. Co-
