Dear Parents, Here is the latest from the NMS-DPS News Desk Highlights: Launch of RADIO NMS – WHERE YOUR VOICES DO THE TALKING Radio NMS which was launched on 22 ND December, 2015 is on air every Tuesday. Children listen to innovative voices of their friends through the PA system. We at NMS feel that this is one of the many ways to unveil the hidden talents of our students. Through this show, students from Kindergarten to Grade XII exhibit their skills in Story Telling, Singing and Poem Recitation. This show also showcases facts, riddles, quiz etc to make it more informative. This also proves to be a platform where children get to host a Live Radio Show, thereby enhancing their communication skills. Each show ends up with a set of Grade specific G.K questions for the week and students drop in their answers in the boxes placed in the ground floor and first floor reception with great enthusiasm. The winners are announced on the next show. The show has successfully completed five Live Programmes. This is just a beginning. We have miles and miles to go… Grade XI students of New Millennium School -DPS bid a fond farewell “Sayonara” to the seventh batch of XII graders in a farewell party arranged at the school campus. Ms. Sumaiyya Sultana and Master Mir Vinay Bhatia were adjudged as “Farewell Princess” and “Farewell Prince” after a question answer round. Seventy students of NMS-DPS participated in Junior and Senior category along with around 300 other participants from different schools in Bahrain (British as well as Indian) other GCC countries.
The students made the school so proud when three of its teams made it in to top 10 (out of more than
100 participated teams) and qualified for BANGKOK GLOBAL ROUND.

Students participated in the Annual Essay and Painting competition orgranized by
Lion's Club of Riffa on 15th January 2016. Students from more than 15 schools in the Kingdom
took part in the competition. The School also honoured with a trophy for the most number of
students 'participation.
