It started with an exciting orientation,
With lot of fun and motivation.
Havan ceremony showered us with the blessings,
Visit to schools gave us the overview of our future learning.
Visit to Amity University highlighted the technology in
communication,
Taking part in a live show fulfilled my expectations.
Everyday morning assembly recharges us for the whole day,
With so many new things on the way.
Classes started to pursue this path of education ,
Every subject came up with its own novel explanation.
Philosophy showed the way of living,
Psychology tried to inculcate the way of behaving,
Curriculum had lot of instructions to give ,
The teaching subjects were the strong self pillars I believe.
Conferences, seminars and events reconstructed many new
experiences,
Each lecture in the class had different methodology of
Teachings.
At NCERT, first time I took part in a Street play ,
World Didac conference aroused the innovations with crea-
tion of new rays.
Chalk board writing workshop concluded that 'handwriting is
brain writing',
Disaster Management and Risk Management workshop was
safety prone and enlightening .
Visit to schools gave the real training,
SEP gave us the glimpse of the profession of teaching.
I have also learnt to be right at times when I used to be wrong,
Not only academic but it has made me spiritually strong.
It has been indeed a great journey till date,
Looking forward to more updates.

A TEACHER FOR ALL SEASONS
A teacher is like spring, who nurtures new green sprouts Encourages and leads them, whenever they have doubts. A teacher is like summer, whose sunny temperament Makes studying a pleasure, preventing discontent. A teacher is like fall, with methods crisp and clear Lessons of bright colors, and a happy atmosphere.
A teacher is like Winter, while it’s snowing hard outside
Keeping students comfortable, as a warm and helpful guide.
Teacher, you do all these things, With a pleasant attitude
You’re a teacher for all seasons, and you have my gratitude.
Meenakshi Tiwari, B.Ed
It’s time to move on…... When you choose to change, grow and move on someone or something will come into your life to help you. So change is a
necessary factor in order to accomplish your goals. When we choose to change we are stepping out of our comfort zones.
Look for the good
When change happens, traumatic or not, experience it, study it, find the good in it, be grateful for it, and use it to move on. No
matter what changes, we can enrich our lives when we search for the good in it. It may not be easy and it requires courage,
discipline and self knowledge, but it’s incredibly worthwhile.
Understanding change – what it will do for you?
View change as an opportunity to grow, move on and triumph. A change can lead you to learn new skills, improve your fitness,
open yourself to new experiences or become closer to your loved ones.
You have to be a change master and not a change victim!
People deal with change in different ways. Some people barely cope. They resist, complain and cast blame they are change
victims. But some reinforce their backbones earning a PhD in life, for them there is no bad luck. They learn grow and achieve
their goals. For them change is an opportunity they are change masters.
Getting started
There is no doubt, change can be challenging. But by understanding the process finding the good in it and realizing you have the
power to handle it, use change to move on to victory.
So it’s time to move on!

My Experience in Semester I
Earth says to rain, “Hey rain, we are truly grateful. Because you come to us, I live, and every-
thing – grass and trees – live together! How come you don’t think of yourself? We haven’t done
anything for you but still, you just come to us whenever we need you. You help and save us.”
“I was born to be this way. Because I was born without the mind of the self, I can be used in plac-
es I am needed, without expecting anything for me. Because there isn’t myself, I cannot do
something for myself. I was just born in the world to give everything of me. So I am so free
and happy. And, we are one without you and me. You don’t directly help me but you also hold
the world and help grass and trees to grow, don’t you? We, the nature, are truly beautiful as we
just exist for one another without the self, all the time,” said the rain.
“Yes, as you said, I also don’t have the mind of the self so I don’t even want to receive any-
thing. I can only give for the life in the world. The Sun in the sky always burns itself to illumi-
nate the whole world warmly and also helps grass and trees to grow, doesn’t it? The nature of
the world doesn’t have the self, so it seems to just exist as one for one another. It is truly beau-
tiful because it always gives without any expectation,” said the earth.
“Yes, I am so happy to live in the world. Not having the mind of the self is too good and joy-
ful. I feel so good because I just give everything without expectation. I don’t even have the
mind that I have given everything. I am truly happy,” said the rain.

further included some exciting visits
that unfolded parts of the Amity
Universe hitherto unknown to most of
us. We got opportunities to visit Amity
International Schools at Saket and
Pushp Vihar which were followed by a
day-long tour of Amity University Ut-
tar Pradesh. However, even the day-
long visit proved to be quite short for
exploring the huge and majestic
campus the academic treasure that it
encompassed.
Our next tryst with this majestic
campus was on our visit during the
annual sport meet - Sangathan-2014.
The gala event showcased the
versatility of Amity, starting with
Amiown - meant for toddlers to the
many institutes of higher education
spread across the globe.
Joining AIE Saket has a two-fold
advantage!! One, it lets you be in one
of the well-known IPU-affiliated B.Ed.
colleges; and two, you also become a
part of the magnificent
Amity Universe.
The meticulous and disciplined way
of functioning of AIE Saket was
evident to me from the first day itself.
It all started off with a well-organized
and appropriately planned orientation-
programme. It exposed us to the vari-
ous facets of the education sector at an
opportune time – right when we were
stepping into this sector to form our
careers. To this effect, we heard some
enlightening lectures by various Amity
experts like Mrs. Mohina Dar

My School Experience
Programme was in Amity International
School, Saket where, apart from the
state-of-the-art and innovative
educational environment, I got to
witness and participate in the
preparations for their biggest day, i.e.
their Annual Day. It was truly inspiring
to see the dedication and determination
of students and teachers alike in the
endeavor to put up a grand and
successful show. Training at this school
was also a great and satisfying
experience.
All I can say is that, we had only
heard about the world-renowned brand
Amity, but being a part of it made us
realize the magnificence of this
Universe!
