I am really impressed with the chosen samples of work and highlights that I have seen in the digital ePorolios that have been shared so far. They really do show a selecon both what our pupils have been doing at home since March and also real insight into the character and personality of our pupils enjoying different kinds of learning experiences. They remind me of one of the things I love about Hill View which is when the Home Learning linked to a project comes in to school that shows things that each child has made, researched, wrien, drawn and developed. This reflects the best of our pupils and is part of the strength of the partnership and engagement that we share and is so important to us. I love the highlights of work that have been selected the pictures and photographs and the comments that reflect each childs personality. They are brilliant and are going to provide a fantasc springboard for discussion with their new teacher that will help your child sele back into the school rounes and their new class. At the me of wring this we have nearly 100 Padlet ePoroios that have been submied that reflect samples of work and some of the highlights and memories of our pupils from this me of Lockdown. If you havent started yet please begin today. We want every child to have their own ePorolio to share at the start of the new term. You can find every thing you need to help you by clicking here. Happy birthday to you!

WEEK 15 We would like to say a fond farewell to Mr Mather, Mrs Bryce and Mrs Lockyer. We wish them all the best for the future and every success in their new ventures. They will be hugely missed and will forever be re-membered for the excellent contribution they made to the Hill View community. EPortfolios Take Off and show our pupils ‘Reaching for the Stars!’

Wow! I am really impressed with the chosen samples of work and highlights that I have seen in the digital ePortfolios that have been shared so far. They really do show a selection both what our pupils have been doing at home since March and also real insight into the character and personality of our pupils enjoying different kinds of learning experiences. They remind me of one of the things I love about Hill View which is when the Home Learning linked to a project comes in to school that shows things that each child has made, researched, written, drawn and developed. This reflects the best of our pupils and is part of the strength of the partnership and engagement that we share and is so important to us.

I love the highlights of work that have been selected the pictures and photographs and the comments that reflect each child’s personality. They are brilliant and are going to provide a fantastic springboard for discussion with their new teacher that will help your child settle back into the school routines and their new class.

At the time of writing this we have nearly 100 Padlet ePortfoios that have been submitted that reflect samples of work and some of the highlights and memories of our pupils from this time of Lockdown.

If you haven’t started yet please begin today. We want every child to have their own ePortfolio to share at the start of the new term.

You can find every thing you need to help you by clicking here.

If you have any questions or problems or want to share your child’s portfolio in a different way please contact me at [email protected]

CREATIVE IDEAS—JUST FOR FUN

If you’re hungry, why not try making…….

POPCORN BALLS!

You will need:

4 TBSP Unsalted butter (plus extra for hands) / 280g Marshmallows / 8 cups of popped popcorn / 1 cup of either dried

fruit, m & m’s , pretzels, nuts or anything else you’d like to add.

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat, add the marshmallows and cook until

melted and smooth, stirring often. Remove from the heat and add the popcorn to the melted mixture until well coated.

Then stir in your additional ingredient. Pour the mix on to the baking tray until cool enough to handle. Once the mixture

is cool enough, but still warm, use buttered hands to form the mixture into balls.
