The Major Key Reference Chart can be used for:
A) Transposing – find the existing key and chords, then work down the page to find the chords in the new key.
B) Songwriting – Learn which chords work well together in that key.
C) Learning fretboard notes – Find the open string name on the left and work to the right. Each column represents one fret, including the black columns.
D) Learning Major Scales – Learn the pattern of major scales. Start on any note on the left and skip the frets in the black columns for the major scales.
E) Learning Pentatonic scales and improvisation – Start on the left and only play the notes in the blue columns.
