    The concept of e-commerce

    Electronic commerce (EC or e-commerce) describes the process of buying, Selling, transferring, or exchanging products, services, and/or information via Computernetworks, including the Internet.

    E-business refers to a broader definition of EC, not justthe buying and selling of goods and services, but alsoservicing customers, collaborating with business

    partners, conducting e-learning, and conductingelectronic transactions within an organization.

    Researchers have suggested that with carefulplanning to reach profitability quickly, manyclick-and-mortar companies are likely tosucceed.

    Joint ventures and partnerships are very valuable,and planning for satisfactory infrastructure andlogistics to meet high demand is needed.
