It’sour way of saying thank you Kansas City for the support and dedication. We arehaving community days during August and September. We want to clean up theyards and temple premises to look beautiful and to have a healthy and “HappyLiving” environment. Go green!!!

We thank all the supporters like South Asian Times and other local organizationswho are supporting us in reaching out to the devotees with our temple eventupdates. Special thanks to YGKC members and the young members of thecommunity who are volunteering in setting up the library and cleaning up the lawnarea. We thank Swami Narayan Temple committee for offering their premises forparking when there are big functions in the temple.

We appreciate devotees checking the list of names that are displayed on the wall, website before we make the final plaque in the coming months. Devotees who areinterested to donate more to come into different categories may please contact thefundraising committee. We are happy to see many volunteers signing up for Sundaylunch. Our request to the devotees is to let the Managers know at least 3 days inadvance if you are unable to serve lunch on the day you have signed-up for. Hindi ClassNow enrolling for the session 2009-2010

Since last four years Hindi Class is being conducted everySunday from 11:00 AM till noon in the temple. Hindi classhas started with the intention of helping children of Indiancommunity to preserve their Native language. Ignoring theimportance of native language or neglecting their values is ina way to deprive your children of their cultural identity.

In Hindi class we also try to keep them connected with ourmain festivals and other cultural issues. By bringing yourchild/children to the Hindi class you are planting culturalseed in your children. You might not realize the significanceof it now, but it is benefiting your child in a long run.

The enrollment for the Hindi Class (August 2009 to May2010) is now open. We will keep the enrollment open tillend of July. There is a $10.00 donation to the temple foreach child each month.
