Combining high-pressure Common Rail Fuel Injection, Variable Nozzle Turbocharger design and Cooled EGR with Selective Catalytic Reduction [SCR] for emission control allows Hino to optimize the air/fuel mixture across the entire speed range of its engines. The 338 is Hino’s largest truck available with hydraulic disc brakes. It has an ergonomic interior that maximizes comfort to reduce stress and driver fatigue. The Hino 338 is equipped with Hino’s 7.6 L, 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine rated at 260hp and 660 lb.-ft. of torque.
