In addition to the routine weekly servicing carried out on all chemical toilets and welfare units on hire, additional servicing can be requested.

In the situation where a site is unable to hire additional toilets due to space restrictions on site, Norspace Hire can provide an additional on-site service in order to maintain the highest levels of sanitation and hygiene as set out by regulatory requirements.

This service can also be provided should you have your own toilet or welfare units. Contact us to discuss the most appropriate additional servicing package for your needs.

Norspace Hire can empty effluent waste tanks both domestically and commercially nationwide. We have a fleet of liquid waste disposal tankers, ranging in capacity from 150 gallons (700 litres) to 3,000 gallons (13,600 litres).

We are certified waste disposal experts, with over 20 years’ experience in the safe collection of waste water from captured waste tanks. You can rest easy that all waste water is disposed of in line with current regulations at a registered waste water facility.

For waste tank emptying on construction sites, event locations or domestic properties, please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be happy to advise you.

Do I have to clean the equipment before returning?

• A cleaning charge will be applied if equipment is returned that requires extra cleaning.

How do I report a problem with the equipment?

• Contact the hire depot immediately, should any issue occur.• Typically, Norspace Hire will arrange for an engineer to visit

your site and repair the equipment, alternatively we will exchange the broken equipment as soon as possible.

Can the equipment be placed anywhere on site?

• We will do our best to place equipment anywhere on your site at your request, but we will only place units where they will be stable, secure and easily accessed for maintenance and servicing.

How soon can you deliver?

• We do our best to accommodate your delivery requests when the order is placed with our office depot.

How do I arrange off hire and collection?

• Equipment remains on hire and chargeable until returned to the depot.

• Norspace Hire will not assume you are finished with an item until you call or email the depot to off-hire the equipment and also arrange a collection date.

• Security of equipment remains your responsibility until returned or collected by Norspace Hire.

How and when do I have to pay?

• Account holders will be sent a monthly invoice at the end of each calendar month giving 30 days to pay. Payment can be made via bank transfer or by debit/credit card.

• Non Account holders must pay in advance of delivery. Payment can be made via bank transfer or by debit/credit card.

Who do I contact with an invoice query?

• Please query invoices within 14 days of receipt with the depot office.

Do I need an account to hire?

• For regular or long-term hire we recommend opening a credit account.

• For one-off or short-term hire we require payment in advance of delivery.

How do I open an account?

• Complete the credit account application online.• Download the credit account application from our website,

print and complete, then return to us by email or post.• When your application has been received and processed,

our credit control department will be in touch.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

• New Account customers are required to pay a refundable security deposit and one month’s hire in advance of delivery.

• Existing Account customers are not required to pay a deposit.• Non Account customers for short-term hires are required to

pay a refundable security deposit which will be refunded to you when the equipment is returned to the depot.

What are the T’s and C’s?

How do I place an order?

• You can place an order by phone or by e-mail.

Can I reserve equipment?

• We recommend reserving equipment as soon as possible, especially for busy periods like summer or bank holidays.

What happens if I return equipment that is broken, damaged or missing?

• We charge for broken or damaged equipment.• We recommend you secure all hired equipment when not in

use to protect it from vandalism or loss.

• Yes, to arrange an on-site consultation to discuss your requirements and your options contact your local depot.
