#4 – Acquisition & Collection Management seeks to implement methods to improve HMA Collection Management processes.

Acquisition and Collection management depends on accurate and reliable tracking information. • Devise a consistent Collections Plan to enter object

identification data into HMA’s database program. Re: Discovery

• Analyze and implement new categorizations to fill collection gaps and create new exhibitions and de-accessioning works.

• Reorganize and inventory permanent collections to improve disaster preparedness and emergency responsiveness.

• Design and implement an internship program that includes collection management students from local educational programs.

Summer Art Camps 26

School goes back early this year, so we lost 2 weeks of potential Summer Art Camps, however…

• We are only 2 weeks into

Summer Art Camps and have filled 21 out of 34 camps already!

• We had to add 2 additional

camps due to the overwhelming response!

• We are about to pass last

year’s total enrollment, and there are 6 weeks to go!
