Buccaneer Book Trove is a

book exchange in the café each

morning out of the concession

stand. This is where students

can come to take books to read

and exchange them for new

ones as they finish reading or

simply donate books.

PARENTS—HOLIDAY CHEER!! Parents PLEASE return the Holiday Cheer forms ASAP—they MUST be returned by November 30th so we are able to assist as many HOB families as we can. If you are in need this Holiday season and have not received a form, please send a note with your child to Miss Booth.

Photos go home today, Tuesday (11/28) – The HJPhoto retake policy is in each photo packet.

*If you have not yet purchased a sport or individual photo, and would like to, you can call HJPhoto directly to order. In addition to providing your student’s name and grade, as well as Horace O’Bryant School, you should indicate whether it is a sport or individual photo you would like to purchase. You can contact HJPhoto Miami using the following number. (305) 436-1163

HOB School Picture Retakes will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017

The HJ Photos Retake Policy is as follows:

Picture Package Ordered

If you purchased a picture package and the problem is due to photography error (too dark, washed out, incorrectly cropped) the retake is free of charge. But if the issue is due to a bad hair day, or if the student is not happy with his or her smile/expression, HJ Miami, the photography company, charges $15. No form is needed for the retake, but students must return their original photos to the photographer at the time of the retake.

Cash or checks made out to “HJMiami” will be accepted.

No Picture Package Ordered

If you did not order a package and are unhappy with your yearbook portrait, and the problem is due to photography error (too dark, washed out, incorrectly cropped) the retake is free of charge. If not, HJMiami charges $5.

REMINDER TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS

All students must comply with the HOB Dress Code Policy. Here are a few remind-ers:

-Shirts may be any color or pattern but may not have inappropriate words, logos or pictures. No tank tops, blouses with thin straps, or tops that reveal bare midriffs or backs (even underneath jackets). Tops that are see-through material must have a wide-strapped tank top underneath that covers the entire torso including the midriff.

-Dress Code also applies to clothing worn in pictures. Students may not change into clothing that does not comply with Dress Code to take pictures.
