After a long day’s touring, nothing is more reju-

venating than a restful night’s sleep – try it for

yourself. Hobby slatted frame systems made of

fl exible multi-layered beech wood offer the kind

of sleeping comfort you enjoy at home. The mat-

tresses are also of a very high quality: spring core

and cold foam mattresses provide everything you

need for the sweetest of dreams. Anyone look-

ing for a little extra comfort can also choose the

ergonomically optimised FROLI bed system.

Our motorhomes are built based on three tried-

and-tested chassis manufacturers: RENAULT,

FIAT and FORD. Strong, and with more space

in the passenger compartment than the aver-

age van, the RENAULT Master gives the new

PREMIUM VAN a truly upmarket feel. The FIAT

Ducato brings impressive handling and per-

formance to the PREMIUM DRIVE, while the

FORD Transit, with its modern engines, seems

to be made specially for the SIESTA models.

Our layouts are carefully tailored to people’s dif-

ferent needs when travelling. Spacious, they allow

you plenty of freedom to move around. From the

exclusive space-bathroom with its separate shower,

Our new PREMIUM VAN will be just up your

city-street if you are a fan of exciting, varied

urban travel.

With a body width of just 2.14 metres, all fi ve

of the models can compete easily with a box

van in terms of agility, making them equally

suited for city use. The body is perfectly

suited to the width of the RENAULT Master,

and barely protrudes, an advantage which you

will quickly learn to appreciate the next time

you have to park somewhere narrow.

You will often feel as if you are driving a car.

The only difference is that the PREMIUM VAN

is of course a fully, comfortably equipped mo-

torhome which will set you in good stead even

for winter holidays.

market, the PREMIUM VAN sets new standards

in the semi-integrated motorhome segment.

And to build it, Hobby collaborated with a

powerful new ally for the 2013 season with

RENAULT providing its MASTER chassis.

Versatile, powerful, robust and dynamic, our

new vehicles combine elegant exterior design

with functionality and technology. The fl ush

windows can be opened wide and give the

PREMIUM series an unmistakable look. The

intelligently conceived cab, with its deep-down

windows and extra-large windscreen, gives

you maximum visibility. Marker lights and rear

lights utilising the latest LED technology mean

more safety. And, as the icing on the cake, the

The SIESTA was completely revised for this new

model year, and many new equipment details

have been added to what was already a com-

fortable basic set-up. The new lift-away bed

in the 65 FL creates two extra full berths in a

fl ash. The comfortable FORD Transit completes

the overall confi guration of the SIESTA, which

offers the best possible value for money for a

compact motorhome.

How do you like to sleep? The SIESTA offers

several different ways of resting:

The choice is yours! Because in just a few

moves you can convert the single beds in the

back into a French double bed. The mechani-

cal lift-away bed is also a stroke of genius:

one of the most compact in its class, it hardly

takes up any space, so headroom remains

comfy and the vehicle is no higher. This lift-

away bed is supremely easy to operate. You

can still get through to the entrance door,

even when it‘s folded out.

technology and a host of useful details.

The practical handle on the entrance door

makes it easy to get in and out. Dirty outdoor

footwear vanishes into the shoe compartment,

The HELLA battery sensor guards against

nasty surprises by measuring the charge level

of your on-board battery, as well as monitor-

“Romantica” LED lighting system

inTelliGenT eQuiPmenT

Our new „Romantica“ lighting system provides

a unique atmosphere in all of the PREMIUM

models with the PREMIUM Comfort Package.

The new Hobby on-board control panel with

BUS technology is the very latest in motorhome

control systems. By simply turning the button

you can move between the menus and quickly

assess the interior and exterior temperature,

the water tank level, battery charge level, and

many more things.

Hobby also uses the most advanced battery

management system in its category to charge

the vehicle and body battery. While under 230

V mains power, the current from an additional

25A charging device ensures that the batteries

are permanently charged, even if all of the con-

sumers are switched on. The danger of running

out of battery even when on the mains is now a

thing of the past.

Hobby vehicles are also very popular in Scan-

dinavian countries, and with good reason.

With side-walls and ceilings made from 34

mm thick high-insulation sandwich elements,

insulated windows and roof hoods, and power-

ful heating systems, mobile travel in winter is

now just as comfortable as a summer holiday.

The fresh water tank is frost-proof and locked

in place beneath the bench. The warm air

ducts in the Truma-Combi-4 and Combi-6

heating systems are installed so that the warm

air moves in the ideal line around the vehicle,

making it lovely and cosy inside.

As an optional extra, all Hobby motorhomes

can be fi tted with the highly effi cient, ex-

tremely quiet ALDE hot water heater, which

retains the air’s natural humidity and mini-

mises dust and allergens. Now nothing can

spoil your holiday, even if the weather doesn‘t

play along.

On our fl atbed and deep-frame chassis mod-

els, we take pains to ensure a perfect fi t and

a smooth transition between the body and the

base vehicle.

We focus especially carefully on protecting the

underbody and body joints against water.

All of the joints are sealed carefully against

water ingress.

The main door of the body looks good and is

functional too. From the outside it blends in

perfectly with the vehicle design, while inside its

compartments can carry all kinds of odds and

ends. A window lets you see through but has an

integral blind to guard against peering eyes.

Many safety features that you will know from

car construction can be found as standard in

our vehicles.

An anti-locking brake system (ABS) means the

motorhome remains fully controllable in the

most diffi cult situations. High-quality GOLD-

SCHMITT additional air suspension improves

roadholding and handling.

Other safety features such as a driver‘s airbag,

electronic immobiliser, central locking and

extended wing mirrors give you the kind of

safety you need for long tours.

to furnishings and fi ttings.

The height-adjustable front seats are signifi -

cantly more comfortable. Armrests on both

sides and factory-fi tted rotating seat mounts

that are adapted specially for the basic vehi-

cle help you achieve the ideal sitting position.

Nor do you have to settle for any discomfort

when you stand in a Hobby motorhome. Intel-

ligent spatial planning means headroom of

up to 1.98 m. So even if you‘re tall you won‘t

feel hemmed in.

Our slim tower refrigerator has a capacity

to swallow everything, keeping it all fresh

and ready to nourish you as you travel. It is

to bend over to access it. Yet from outside it

garage. With its standard interior lighting,

you will fi nd everything inside, even on a

The garage doors are fully insulated and

secured with sturdy 2-point lever locks, and

they open to a wide angle. All of our garages

have a strong, easy-to-clean plastic lining and

come fi tted with additional shelves. Adjust-

able tying rings to which you can attach straps

help ensure that loads stay still and secure.

Technical data

The basic fi ttings for all models weigh 110 kg.

1 The technically permissible gross weight must not be exceeded under any circumstances.

2 The weight of the vehicle in ready-to-drive state corresponds to the weight of the empty vehicle, including lubricants, on-board tools, spare wheel (repair kit where appropriate), fuel (100 %), extra battery, all standard factory-fi tted equipment and 75 kg for the driver in addition to the basic equipment. Basic equipment comprises the weight of the fresh water and gas containers, which are fi lled to 90 % of their capacity.

3 The load corresponds to the difference between the „technically permissible gross weight“ and the „weight in ready-to-travel state“. This value must take account of passengers, optional accessories and personal items.

4 The towing attachment is a special accessory. Please comply with the maximum permitted towing weight.
