Locker Room Facilities: Visiting teams will have use of a locker room located on the east side of the Mack Sports Complex. The locker room can accommodate 25-30 people and is equipped with a white board, training table, towels and showers.

Press and Filming Information: All press conferences will take place in the media room, which is located in the southwest corner of the arena. If you desire to film you may do so from the platform on the north stands.

Team Parking:

Visiting teams should park their bus in the parking lot located on east side of the Mack Sports Complex. Teams can access this area by turning onto campus off of Earl Ovington Blvd. (St. between the Nassau Coliseum and Mack Sports Complex). Once you turn onto campus continue straight and parking lot will be straight ahead and slightly to right when you reach the stop sign. Parking lot is located behind the outfield fence of Bill Edwards Stadium on your right and the Hofstra Health Dome will be on your left.

Locker Room Information The visiting team locker room is located underneath the northeast stands at James M. Shuart Stadium. Teams will be provided with towels in the locker room.

Press and Filming Information All press conferences will take place in the theater located on the basement floor of Joseph M. Margiotta Hall. The visiting sports information director can sit in the press box which is located on the fourth floor of James C. Metzger Hall. If you desire to film you may do so from the roof of James C. Metzger Hall.

Tailgating Information Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots surrounding the stadium. However, visiting teams tailgate will take place in the east parking lot of Shuart Stadium. Hofstra University does not allow kegs of beer and gas grills in the parking lots outside of Shuart Stadium.

Parking Information Team vans or buses can be parked on the east side of the stadium near the visiting team locker room.

Stay on Meadowbrook Parkway until Exit M4 ... Follow "From All Points," below. From All Points: From Exit M4 of the Meadowbrook Parkway you will be on Route 24 west (Hempstead Tpke.) ... Stay on 24W for about one mile ... Pass Nassau Coliseum* ... and travel under the first overhead walkway…..once you pass the first overhead walk way you will make your first right turn onto campus at the traffic light (before the second overhead walkway) *For James M. Shuart Stadium (Lacrosse), after you pass Nassau Coliseum on your right, make a left at the first stoplight (Uniondale Ave.). Continue down Uniondale Ave. and James M. Shuart Stadium will be on your right. See below for specific directions to each facility. Hofstra Soccer Stadium – Go to the second stop sign and make a right. You will see soccer stadium up ahead on your right. Hofstra Field Hockey Stadium – Go to second stop sign and go straight into parking lot. Field hockey stadium will be on your left. University Field (Baseball) – Go to second stop sign and make a right. Go straight and after you pass the second stop sign, turn left into the parking lot. University Field will be on your left.

Hofstra Softball Stadium - Go to second stop sign and make a right. Go straight as far as you can on this Rd.. Hofstra Softball Stadium will be at the end of the Rd. on your right. Mack Sports Complex (Basketball and Wrestling) - Go to second stop sign and make a right. After passing second stop sign, the Mack Sports Complex will be on your right. Mack Physical Education Center (Volleyball) - Go to second stop sign and make a right. Go straight two stop signs. At the second stop sign, the Physical Education Center will be on your right. Entrance to the building is down the roadway adjacent to the soccer field.

Getting Here By Train from New York City: The Long Island Rail Rd. provides regular commuter service from Pennsylvania Station in New York City to the Hempstead Station, which is less than two miles from Hofstra’s campus. Pennsylvania Station is located at 34th St. and 8th Ave., below Madison Square Garden. Take the Long Island Rail Rd. East on the Hempstead Branch to the final stop "Hempstead." Depending on the day and time, a complimentary blue Hofstra bus may be waiting at the station to take visitors and students to the Hofstra campus. The bus makes several stops on campus. Otherwise, just take a taxi for a short 5-minute trip to the Hofstra campus.
