1 January 2006, PT Semen Cibinong changed its name into PT Holcim Indonesia
•15 June 1971, PT Semen Cibinong was established, located at Narogong West Java. Shareholders: Gypsum Carrier Inc. Panama 51%, PT Semen Gresik 25%, Bamerical IFC USA 24%. Started with 1 unit capacity of 600,000 MT/year in 1973 and additional capacity expansion in 1977 for another 600,000 MT.
10 August 1977, listed at Jakarta Stock Exchange.
30 May 1988, Local company (PT
Tirtamas Majutama) took over the
ownership and recorded as a majority
shareholder
1989, Listed in Surabaya Stock Exchage
1990, Established 2 companies, PT. Trumix Beton (Ready Mix) & PT. Wahana Transtama (Transporter).
1993, Acquired 100% of PT Semen Nusantara, Cilacapwhich has 1 million ton cement capacity.
1995, acquired PT Semen Dwima Agung which has mining and cement production license with 800 Ha mining consession, Tuban, East Java.
13 December 2001, Holcim took over the ownership with 77.33% shares, after investing 0.8 billion USD and the rest are belong to public.
