Soo Bahk Do Foundation Holiday Fundraiser 2014-2015 December 17 th , 2014 To Those That Make a Difference in Society: The United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 273606696), is sponsoring our first annual Holiday Fundraiser. The mission of the Foundation is to give our underserved community an opportunity to become leaders through the traditional Martial Art discipline of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. We are selling “Candy Cane Action Figure” Christmas ornaments hand crafted from our students at a $2 value. We are asking for a minimum donation of $5 per craft. The student with the most funds raised will receive an award and have the opportunity to attend Foundation Sponsored Youth Leadership Training Programs. Specifically, your donation will help fund: • Be the Change in A Life Fund to help students who cannot afford tuition, federation membership, testing fees and or education items • Create and sponsor community awareness programs such as safety, self-defense and anti-bullying • Create training seminars • Create and distribute educational materials Any donations above the value of the items received will be tax-deductible and we will email an acknowledgement receipt.
