Congratulations to Wendy Smith for Winning the Leading Age Innovation in Care and Services Award!
Missy Parker nominated Wendy for the Innovation in Care and Services Award. This award recognizes a LeadingAge Georgia
member organization for programs and/or services that are models of innovation and excellence and that contribute significantly to the quality of life of the individuals served.
Wendy wrote and obtained a grant for the Balance Bikes that Genesis uses for the balance classes that are offered the Athens Community. Residents have improved their balance and of course Wendy has the data to prove it!
2017 Merit Increase Information
If you are eligible for a merit increase, you will receive your new rate of pay on your January 19th paycheck. A personal letter will be
given to you before that date with the Rating Matrix and a Personnel Action Form (PAF) which will explain your new rate of pay. These letters will be given to your Leadership Team at your communities the second week in January. Remember, any employee that was hired after June 1, 2017, will not be eligible for a pay increase for 2017. If you have any questions regarding your merit increase, please discuss with your supervisor.

Payroll Reminder: Be sure to check your pay check each pay period for accuracy. This would include PTO balances, overtime, benefit deductions, shift differentials, etc. If you do not know how to review your paycheck, ask your supervisor or contact HR.
