As Depot Manager for Exeter and Bodmin I firstly want to congratulate Jeff Morford for his long-term service and dedication to Holt JCB. We have a number of long serving team members in Exeter and Bodmin and we believe that this contributes to our constant drive for excellent customer service across the depots. We have now had the new signage put up in both depots, which has refreshed the buildings for 2015. Holt JCB Teletruk Saleman, Andy Crawford has hit the headlines, making it into the latest Teletruk Action magazine from JCB Teletruk HQ! Andy joined us in March 2014 from Gunn JCB following his relocation to Cornwall with his family. He hit the ground running selling 21 Teletruk machines in just 9 months. From desk based research to lapsed and historical customers he has developed a 6-week visit plan, which has generated new leads, demonstrations, quotes and enquiries. Working with the telesales department, Andy has made contact with a number of new customers and looks forward to working with even more of you over the next year. He has worked with the Holt JCB marketing department to distribute literature to customers as requested and with his feet firmly under the table Andy is expecting to provide even better customer contact this year. The JCB site dumper line-up will be based around four popular weight classes. Compact one tonne and two tonne machines have been designed primarily for house building and landscaping contractors, while 3-3.5 tonne JCB models will suit general construction and rental businesses. At the heavier end, both 6 tonne and 9-10 tonne dumpers offer the ultimate carrying capacity for larger earthmoving projects. EXCAVATOR The JCB 457 can perform great feats of productivity. With high breakout forces, it’s bucketloads more powerful than its competitors and our new rear chassis Layout provides 3.3% extra lift capacity than the previous model. WHEELED LOADER NEW JCB DUMPER RANGE 1CXT BACKHOE LOADER The 1CXT offers superb tractive effort provided by the high-drive tracks great pushing power; a 14% increase in bucket capacity and 30% increase in ground clearance compared to the 1CX. Stabilisers are now only required for the most arduous digging applications, due to the increased stability offered by the tracks. This versatile machine also parallel lifts whilst both raising and lowering as standard.
