Stewardship Bulletin Bit

“I have now brought you the first fruits of the products of the soil which you, O Lord, have given to me.” (Deuteronomy 26:10)This line from the Old Testament offers two challenges. First, do you give to God from your “first fruits”, the best that you have to offer, or do you give from what is leftover? Second, do you recognize that everything you have has been given to you by God? Ask God for a grateful and generous heart, every day, in all circumstances.

39th Annual Nash Lecture: Reconciliation in the Age of RageWed., March 13, 2019 at 7:30 pm at Campion AuditoriumWe live in an “age of rage.” Shifting social, economic, and religious paradigms seem to lead to deepening rifts and increased tribalism among persons and groups. In the midst of this, the Society of Jesus reaffirms its mission of “the service of faith and the promotion of justice” with a renewed emphasis on the need for reconciliation: reconciliation with God, with other people, and with creation. The lecture is free, open to everyone and there is free parking on the campus in the evening. For more information, go tocampioncollege.ca or facebook.com/CampionCollege
