Care Net Fundraiser Dear St Thomas More parishioners, You have probably noticed the basket of baby bottles in the vestibule of the church and in the hall. Many of you are familiar with this fund raiser for Care Net and have already picked up your bottle to fill with coins, checks, or dollars. Thank you for your participation in helping to keep this vital service to families on our beloved Ridge. Families and especially women, in your own neighborhood may be benefiting from the services that Care Net offers for free. If you have not yet picked up a baby bottle, please take one today and prayerfully consider what God would have you give. As you may remember, the bottles need to be returned by Father's Day to the church depository in the vestibule or to the church office.
~Kathy DeCristofaro

SHOR center is behind the Paradise Lutheran Church on Skyway, next to Terry Ashe Park. Just follow the signs. For more information, contact Michele at

Table of Plenty We are urgently seeking a volunteer (or two) to pick up produce from the Chico Farmer’s Market for Table of Plenty. With the large amount of produce that is being donated, we now need additional help. If you would like to find out more about how you can help, please call Norma
Degmetich at 873-4913.

Year of Mercy – Reflection "Human beings, whenever they judge, look no farther than the surface, whereas the Father looks into the very depths of the soul. ... To refrain from judgment and condemnation means, in a positive sense, to know how to accept the good in every person and to spare him any suffering that might be caused by our partial judgment and our presumption to know everything about him. But this is still not sufficient to express mercy. Jesus asks us also to forgive and to give. To be instruments of mercy because it was we who first received mercy from God.”
~Pope Francis
Articles and Ministry News
If a man finds it very hard to forgive injuries, let him look at a crucifix, and think that Christ has shed all His Blood for him, and not only forgave his enemies, but prayed the Eternal Father to forgive them also. ~St. Philip Neri
Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy “Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful” (Lk 6:36).
