The purpose of the PC is to aid the Pastor in setting the overall direction of the Parish community. The PC will work closely with and advise the Pastor on matters related to the overall mission of the Parish. Expectations of the PC member. To pray for and worship within the parish. To be aware of key ministries and personnel in the parish. To attend regularly scheduled meetings. To be available to assist with ministries. To be present and visible at major parish activities. We are looking for energetic parishioners that are outgoing, have input during our monthly meetings and willing to make a commitment for the next three years. If you are this person, or know someone to nominate (with their permission) please contact Fr. Patrick or the parish office to leave your name and phone number. TRAVELERS to Italy will meet on Oct 3 rd at 2 pm in Andre Hall. FRIDAY PRAYER GROUP is moving to Tuesday night beginning Oct 6 th at 7 pm in Andre Hall. ATTENTION!     FLOWERS in the Sanctuary are donated in loving

    memory of Anthony Blas by his family.

    GARAGE SALE – Saturday, October 3rd

    from 7 am – noon in Bldg D. Appliances, clothes, furniture,

    religious articles, shoes, Christmas and Thanksgiving

    decorations, etc.

    “Liturgy of the Word with Children”, an

    enriching liturgy-based activity for all children

    K through 2nd

    grade that takes place at the

    10:30 Mass each Sunday, is scheduled to start

    October 4th

    ! Come join the Celebration of

    God’s Word with Children! The rewards exceed the time.

    There is a need for adult volunteers to fill team vacancies in order to continue with this ministry to children. Members

    of the Youth Group and Confirmation Class are also invited.

    All youths who assisted with this ministry last year are

    requested to sign-up again if they are continuing this year.

    “Liturgy Box” in the church office or call Shirley Rose

    542-3101 for more information. Training and materials will

    be provided. All adult volunteers must attend an EIM

    Basic workshop and register with the Diocese.

    LADIES SOCIETY We would like to invite all the ladies of the parish to join us

    at our monthly meeting on Fri, Oct 2nd

    at 9 am in Andre

    Hall.

    The Ladies Society will be celebrating the anniversary of the

    National Council of Catholic Women with a Corporate

    Communion at the 8 am Mass on Sunday, October 11th.

    BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS at Christ the King

    Parish on Saturday, October 24th at 9 am to 12 pm in the

    Parish Hall Center. Parents / Sponsors should contact the
