MARRIAGE MOMENTS Marital arguments sometimes go round in circles with each spouse trying to prove they were right. Some-times you are right, but that's not the point. If you can recognize part of the argument that you were wrong in, simply saying "I was wrong." can help. Resist following it with, "But..."
You can embrace these words of Jesus by
contributing to the Poor Box. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Empty your pockets
of change. Teach your children how to do this.
Make it a habit
This money goes to the SVDP Society and they use
it to do what Jesus says: Take care of the least of my brothers and sisters.

Second Sunday of Advent John the Baptist went
through the whole region of the Jordan, proclaiming “Prepare
the way of the Lord!” Is God calling you to help prepare His way by serving as a priest or as a religious brother or sister? Call or write Fr.

In the event of a severe storm and a State of Emer-gency is called, all parish offices are closed and all liturgies and programming are cancelled. In each case, the obligation to attend Sunday liturgy is dispensed. Mass intentions are, of
course, rescheduled. Before venturing out, it is always wise to call the parish office to check our open or closed status. Personal safety (yours and others on the road) is our main concern. Listen to WJBR, WSTW, WDEL OR WILM radio for announcements.
