Come Eat For Pete On January 26th, 2015, Pete Jones was diagnosed with Stage 4 Tongue Cancer. On February 12th, he underwent an eight hour surgery to remove the can-cer. Now at home, Pete is healing before he starts radiation treatment. We invite friends and family to eat at Deaver’s Restaurant on March 31st to help raise funds for Pete and his family. These funds will help over some of his medical expenses and boost the morale of his family during this difficult time. Please pick up a flyer located at the entrances of church and bring it with you when you go to eat any time from 11am-1am on March 31st and Deaver’s will donate 20% of your bill. HEALTH, WEALTH AND A CONFIDENT RETIREMENT The Health and Wellness Committee is hosting a talk on “Health, Wealth and a Confident Retirement”. The presenter, Terry Moyers, will talk about planning for tomorrow so you can live for today, taking a confident retirement approach. The discussion will include steps to creating a plan that will give you peace of mind so you can focus your energy on what you enjoy most. This talk is designed for ALL AGE GROUPS. Developing a specific plan for your retirement is unique for every individual. It is imperative to keep track of your progress and to adjust along the way to successfully achieving financial independence. The earlier you develop your plan the better, but it is never too late. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER; even if you think retirement is too far into the future or it is too late for you, “the more one knows, the more one will be able to control events.: Hope to see you :
