SAY CHEESE!! September is a wonderful time to have your family photo taken. Holy Trinity Parish is doing a parish pictorial directory once again! Each participating family is entitled to receive an 8x10 colour photo plus a copy of the directory, completely FREE! Pictures are done digitally therefore it only requires one appointment. We are using a different Company this time, and are promised that the photos will be ready in time for Christmas!!! We are looking for volunteers to help with the phoning and hosting. Please call the parish office if you can help. More details will follow in the weeks to come. Cemetery Spring Cleaning Bee – Saturday, May 8, 2010 starting at 9 am. Sign up board at back of church. If you own a shovel, rake, wheel barrel, or pruning shears please bring along for the clean up. Any questions please contact the Parish Office.

Alberta March for Life: Thursday May 13, 2010. Did you know that in Canada abortion can be performed throughout the pregnancy? Since the Supreme Court ruling on January 28th, 1988, twenty two years ago, legalizing abortion, there is no law controlling abortion clinics at any time during the pregnancy even in the ninth month. GET INVOLVED! Silence hurts children, the sick and the elders. Be a voice for the voiceless, come… fill a car… a bus… call a friend. Prayer Vigil at St. Joseph’s Basilica May 12 beginning at 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 a.m. May 13th. Everyone is Welcome! Pro-Life Mass at St. Joseph’s Basilica Thursday May 13th at 10:30 a.m. Bring a lunch and join the crowd at the Legislative grounds for the Rally and March at 1:00 p.m. Many exciting speakers will be featured.

PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests. Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.

Help our priests to be strong in their vocation. Set their souls on fire with love for your people.

Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom. Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.

Allow them to experience joy in their ministry. Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.

Amen.
