LESLEY BROCKNurse Training in 1982 and has been a Registered Manager for 16 years within the care community. Lesleyhas been a Deputy Manager of a nursing home and Manager for an EMI unit and has also been a RegisteredManager for a 68 bedded nursing home in Dorset. Lesley has the Registered Managers Award and is alsotrained in bereavement counselling. She is currently undergoing her NVQ 4 in Social Care and Management.Lesley regularly updates her knowledge by attending seminars and training courses.fffffffffffff

MANDY LANGTONProfessionally qualified to Level 4 Management & Care. 1992 set up Social Services day centre for peoplewith Alzheimers. A NVQ Assessor and has achieved a high level of training in all aspects of care practice.Previous experience includes, Manager of a specialist Dementia Home and assisting the Primary Care Trustwith research into Alzheimers disease.

Award winner for achievement by Skills for Care “The Ted Gully Award for Outstanding Care Manager for theWhole South West Region”, John Nash Skills for Care Regional development officer said “Mandy stood outfor her passion and commitment, for her excellent understanding of the complex needs of people who are invarying stages of a dementing illness”. Judges stated in their citation “all her values are at the forefront of whatshe does. There is no assumption she won’t challenge. She is a complete team player and metaphorically andliterally opens doors for her staff, the residents and their families. She is truly a breath of fresh air”.

DAWN HADDOCKAttended over 30+ specialist care industry courses, including Adult Protection, Advanced Dementia Management,Managing Challenging Behaviour, Caring for Older People with Dementia, Advanced Management for Care.As an Assistant Occupational Therapist for Adult Social Services helped those with physical illness, long termdisability, a learning disability or problems associated with ageing live independently. This was achieved throughcomprehensive assessment and providing equipment, making minor adaptations to the home, environmentand / or giving advice to carers. In this role Dawn worked closely with other Professional Practitioners, suchas, Social Workers, Nurse Care Managers, GPs, Health Care Services, Housing Associations and Housing andCommunity Services.

CARE RESPITE SUPPORTCaring for a loved one can sometimes get tough, and you may need help. Home Care Angels can comein and work alongside you, assisting with caring for your loved one, in the way you do.

With our hospital discharge support we can doa food shop, turn your heating on or even clean your house ready for your discharge. We can collect youfrom the hospital and take you home and can arrange to continue to assist you until you feel ready tomanage on your own.

LEARNING DISABILITIES CAREWhatever your age, Home Care Angels staff are trained to the highest standards to be able to care andsupport people with learning difficulties. We offer high quality support and care, ensuring we maintainthe independence of each person, by creating an individualised care package put together by yourself andthe senior carers. This is set up to respond to individual needs in a meaningful and person centred approach.

LIVE IN CAREHome Care Angels can provide a carer 24 hours a day, seven days a week to care for your every needon a one-to-one basis allowing you to stay in your familiar and relaxed surroundings supported by a trainedcarer.
